  1. If noone's interested in the block does anyone have any ideas what I should do with it? Take it to the tip, scrap metal? Any ideas would be good

  4. Hey Guys, I have a few things lying around the house to get rid of that are taking up space: 1) a bare rb20det block which i removed because it had low compression in two cylinders, was still drivable (I was still driving it 600 Km a week until i put my new one in) but would suit someone looking for spare parts or a rebuild. If you can pick it up you can have it, i just want it out of the garage . 2) rb20 stock turbo, great condition, comes with the rb25 actuator (7 psi). Hoping to get $180. 3) Greddy full auto turbo timer $80 If your interested in anything let me know Ben

  10. I am the first australian owner and have owned the car for about 18 months. I have just put 12months rego on it. It currently has 149 xxx kms on the odometer and has been serviced every 5000km (including full 100 000 km service about 8 months ago when it clocked over). Has been a really fun car to own and drive but all good things must come to an end and its time for a change. So heres the things you want to know: Black 1992 r32 gts-t rb20det 149,000, manual, with 12 months rego. Modifications: Full 3inch turbo back exhaust, split front/dump pipe, hi flow cat converter, 3.5" cannon, sounds awesome. rb25 s2 turbo Manual boost controller Front mount intercooler ECU chip from Dr Drift Bosch 040 fuel pump Splitfire coil packs Blitz pod filter Extras: near new tyres all round on 17" volk rims (rims repainted white, have seen better days) Boost gauge and oil pressure mounted on the A-pillar JVC CD/mp3/DVD player with usb connection and 7" screen Alpine 6x9" rear speakers, 12" clarion sub 600W with amp Im hoping to get $10,500 Im negotiable on price and can remove parts in sale. any questions pm me here or call/text 0431 013 463 Thanks, Ben.
  11. I got the s2 rb25 turbo, bolted straight on. Just had a look under the hood to double check, the turbo and exhaust bolt straight on, its the elbow going to the intercooler that you need from the rb25, i had to get a few new bolts for it too because i snapped the old ones tightening them too much, may have been fragile because of their age? not fun trying to get the half bolts out lol. Apart from basic maintenance i hadn't done much before so just followed internet instructions. Didn't notice too much power difference but might just be my car, i didn't have the money to spend on a nice gt2530 or anything so wasnt expecting too much difference. Let me know how you go
  12. Hey mate, I did the swap about a year ago now so if i miss anything someone help me out. Its not too hard, a simple swap with oil/water lines. The only part you need is the rb25 turbo elbow from memory. You should get new gaskets (exhaust and turbo manifold) too while you doing it. Also i used the rb20 actuator because its a 10psi spring as opposed to the 7psi rb25 actuator. Hope that's everything if anyone can confirm. Good luck
  13. hey mate, Car looks really nice, can you post up some more pictures of it from the outside and inside if everything is put together and complete? Will be very interested if its still around in a month or two free bump
  14. Not having much luck are you, how long do you have left on your p-plates? I have a stock turbo for sale if your interested: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...73#entry4530573 I also have other items at my place like a stock turbo back exhaust and airbox ect that i'm not selling, but if your in the area you can borrow them to clear the defect then give them back..... i just want to keep them for myself so i'm not in the same boat as you if i get done for a "random breath test" and defected haha Good luck with it mate
  15. Price drop if anyone's interested $200 for the turbo $80 for the turbotimer
  16. Its probably a three man job, just wear some high-vis jackets and we could get away with anything . We could carry it to old springwood station, or even better duct tape it to my bonnet because i dont have a badge there anyway....therefore it wouldnt look sus? Meet there in 10mins ?
  17. All items still up for sale guys and gals
  18. Hey guys. I got a few things lying around that i wanna get rid of. RB20DET stock turbo $250 ono I took the actuator to put on my new turbo so it's only running an R33 s2 7psi wastegate. Greddy Turbo Timer $100 ono Second hand, comes with loom. HKS SSQV Imitation BOV $30 Bought new and used for a week. Attracted too much unwanted attention and subsequently removed. Pick up preferred from lower blue mountians/penrith area.
  19. That sucks dude, if you got the plates definitely report it! As for finding new parts (GTR?) i'm not sure where you could get them in Perth but in Sydney we have a couple of 'import car' places full of second hand parts so have a look around or even start a 'want to buy thread' and you may find someone on this forum could help you out
  20. Thanks for replying for me phil. In the instructions it says to take the plugs out and doesn't mention plugging it back up. Also in the trouble shooting section it says a possible cause of boost not increasing/continuing to increase is due to the plug not being removed. When setting up the controller we have varied the SET % and gain % but boost has not changed from stock at all.... As lance suggested i tested the solenoid from the battery and it made clicking sounds so the problem isn't the solenoid. Thanks for your help guys and gals
  21. Thanks lance, could I run 12v straight from the battery or could this potentially harm the solenoid? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
  22. Hey guys. As you can probably tell from the title... i am having profec problems. I bought it second hand and installed it the other day. it has power and is reading boost perfectly fine. BUT it won't boost over the stock 10 psi (r33 turbo with rb20 actuator on rb20). I'm pretty sure that it's all installed correctly, checked everything 3 times. Took it for some test runs with a multimeter on the solenoid terminal at the back of the ebc unit. No matter what i did i couldn't get it to read any kind of voltage or current. When should the ebc be sending voltage to the solenoid and how much? Any help or suggestions would be great guys.
  23. Man and i thought it was bad parking at UWS campbelltown where if your late you have to park in one of the carparks that will take you a mere 4 mins to walk to class haha I read today that all the UWS prices for parking are going up a fair bit $75 or something for yellow but still better than $12 a day i guess
  24. I've put an rb25 turbo on my rb20 but i need the elbow off the compressor side. I'm in the western sydney area. If anyone has one lying around it would be appreciated. Post your prices
