  1. epic!! doubt it has a compliance cert or equivalent and rego might be a biAtch, oo and insurance looks like a lot of effort has gone into it though - more than 2k of effort
  2. ha! what a cracker of a thread!
  3. best way to check if injectors are leaking is by spraying it to see if it makes a change in idle... do not over tighten your injectors as the spacing blocks will crack and are quite difficult to find
  4. hahahaa hey it's free killawasps so don't complain hahahaa
  5. yeah you don't find them anymore and the aussie delivered one ain't the same... i did see a wrecked one in QLD years back that had the same boot trim and it was still good but yeah, years ago
  6. i had all mine replaced with RB20 injectors
  7. wow it sold!!! congrats to the new owner.. you'll be very surprised and happy with it... i traded to toyota after nearly 10years as a nissan owner and love it... the engineering is miles ahead of nissan in this 4 door!
  8. cut and clamp a new hose on or go buy a new one RB20 have the same imped. i'm pretty sure
  9. I'll take the gauges for $550 and i'll come pick them up.. don't need the controller interested?
  10. yeah that's where i work... got a JZX100 now
  11. pics? are you willing to separate...? my gauges were stolen by some Wharfy scum when my car was imported but they left the controller PM me as i could come and pick them up
  12. good idea. If you can get your hands on "Steptone vinyl rejuvenator" (usually in a bulk container) start rubbing it in now - this stuff is the bomb and can turn even the most faded bumper into a brand new looking one in a couple of weeks. don't use armor all or any cheap shit as it brings moisture to the top to make it look shiny for a while but will eventually dry it out which you should know is BAD everyone take note! I have used this for every car i have owned and it has done wonders for keeping the R30 that i just sold looking new http://www.septone.com.au/detail.asp?item_...&page_num=1
  13. try a good Nissan Dealer near you and good luck i'm not thinking it will be cheap. try and salvage all you seals when pulling them off i've heard of seal kits for even some aussie delivered vehicles costing close to a couple of grand i think. always look after your runbbers!
  14. paint and panel would be foremost but a simple turbo upgrade to a VG30 and a decent intercooler would see a 30kw gain or 130kw easily. And cheap too
  15. http://www.zshop.net.au/ http://www.kumbak.com.au/WebPage/WebPage.asp?Ref=6394 http://www.sghaw.com.au/Cars.htm (these guys are currently wrecking an R30 now) http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?cid=1...2gmNfkRx9TLKxmw http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?cid=1...0Puxw4bkSGDOj7g (NISSCO are the guys who have done all the work on the car while i had it - there's a link on this page too) http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?cid=9...593VjPgeOamfNTQ there's my pick of the bunch
  16. congratulations mate hope you're happy with the purchase and if you need anything just give us a ring... looking forward to some updates trickling through soon
  17. keep it the same colour and colour match the bars!!! and maybe a little more pearl
  18. cheers JR... there could be a couple of reasons.. 1: are there standard size rims on the car? my car's overall size had changed from the factory one and i have noticed that the speedo was out (higher reading by roughly 10km per hour) which over time will give you a higher odometer reading like mine has. Have checked this on a dyno to an actual speed reading so my car has done less than it shows 2: another cluster has been put in 3: the seller is lying about the actual milage
  19. may have found a new home near Frankston... and she'll be restored not modded
  20. could be in your price range Andrew... hint hint $2500 SOMEONE TAKE IT AWAY
  21. buy it, then restore the body and by that time you'd be able to enjoy it
