  1. unless its standard privacy tint, regency roadworthy may have an issue but for the most part ID guys are ok (even though ive seen a couple guys working at both)
  2. There is a really easy way of doing it, Socket and breaker bar on crank bolt, place it so the handle of the breaker bar is leaning against the chasis rail/inner well on the undo side or as close to as possible, disconnect your ignition system (unplug coilpack loom), give it a quick short crank with the key, Presto!! Starter motor does all the muscle work for you
  3. properly installed thermos are the way to go. pull type, sealed and shrouded, on with ignition and you will never have a problem. plus youll gain a bit of response due to drag of the fan on your crank. most people wont bother with the hassle of hooking it all up and making it work on a street/daily but its a great upgrade out on track!
  4. yeah its odd, i couldn't find a seat belt... must be a pre 1950's jobbie.
  5. ill just pop these in here
  6. prep work to get it to hold for a month = 0, just clean them well and done. If you were to do it permanently then yes you would need to clean, sand, sand more, prime, sand, prime, sand, sand more, paint, wait, paint, wait, paint, wait, sand, clear, wait, clear, wait 24hrs, sand, clear, sand and then polish etc. The ease of "eh im over it" and peeling it off is a real bonus here. Your wheels go back to normal colour, no tideous prep work etc... and its reasonably cheap. Depending on what paint and how you use it 2 cans should be plenty. Hell ive done a whole engine bay with one can before, 3 layers + clear, you just gotta be careful with how youre using it to get the most out and cover a big enough area. I reckon this has merit for temporary bossin. Im keen to paint the moto wheels red with this stuff.
  7. I never put second handies on the front... unless theyre almost new, but thats me... you can get some good deals on new tyres everywhere, phone around, look on the net etc..
  8. Haha yes, was a rather easy one the username was of great assistance too lol. Even so, plenty more information available if you know where to look I guess, theres almost no point trying to hide your identity these days... it can all be traced back unfortunately esp. if a history of work is available, thats the easiest form of getting contact addresses and numbers, just gotta use a bit of creativity to get you there.
  9. Chuck Norris is not on the internet... Chuck Norris is the internet. And besides, no one messes with Chuck Norris, only Chuck Norris can mess with Chuck Norris.
  10. Magnas make for good daily's... too bad they dont have civil engineers building them and a long history of managing things No one is safe on the interwebz... NO ONE
  11. ^ and know where to look. I managed to trace someone on ebay back to Brisbane and in another unrelated instance a person in Sydney after issues with money being taken from me... went as far as getting one persons credit ratings and financial history lol. Needless to say i got my money back Point of story, no one is safe on the interwebs.
  12. In an accident such as the one that happened, helmet coming off is the smallest of his concerns, it just shows how great the impact was. No matter how you look at it, a helmet coming off is equivalent to hanging yourself off a noose. Has anyone actually tried taking a helmet off with a strap on? Ive taken out my garage door on a bike with the helmet still on (unco), was barely moving and my neck hurt for weeks. Also, on that point, has anyone seen all the rubber lining through guard rails in the hills? Someone got decapitated not long ago coming off a bike by having his helmet jammed in between the rail and ground. Nasty.
  13. my car runs on hopes and dreams.
  14. Watch it when i get a chance, today was a tragedy... RIP Marco Simoncelli.
  15. mines running a lemon under the bonnet with a couple coconuts hanging off it... go figgure.
  16. theres a nicer kind of gt you can get... not for 10k but bit of saving and you'll be getting a newer/nicer car then a 34 could ever be... 350gt skyline
  17. ATS, would be GT30 internals in a factory t3 housing machined to fit. Most power you will get out of it is 270-280kw before its out of its range and starts surging or going hyper (aka, spinning n making more boost with no power increase, much like a non actuated turbo) The factory front housing doesnt like boost over 18psi, have seen em crack before but then again have seen em running on 20+ with no problem. Either way i wouldnt push it, if its still healthy, get rid of it and upgrade to something that will handle the power you want with ease. my 2c
  18. want to learn quick? sell it... will save you many, many dollars and headaches to come. but welcome to the forum... usually a decently friendly bunch going around these circles...
  19. Imma rollerblade this shit out of clems grass haha unless someone aims at me in the stands from turn 1, i dont think there will be an issue hahaha

  21. If anything i might come out to watch, get re-acquainted and maybe for a bit of motivation to finish mine too haha
  22. haha done deal. what day is it on? hopefully have the car running and tuned in the next month or so... way too many expenses put the 33 on the backburner for a year now
  23. Endless is a famous japanese tuner company best known for their brakes and braking components... Now that you mention it its also painted the same colour as the brand... Maybe an endless demo car of some sort from the past?
  24. Wouldnt say favorite but its the first time shes ventured in to the sun since this time last year and i fell in love again haha, its my dysfunctional creation of monstrosity Still got loads of body work, sealed under body, diffusers, and a more practical selection in wheels/tyres for time attack but its getting there... dont judge it too much just yet
  25. ill bring some roller blades and a rope. haha nah i should really join hey, paying 1 day cams is too bloody unprofitable.
