i hate rav 4's

So my baby is waiting to be picked up from the panel beater. The next thing is to clear the regency defect i picked up a while ago from a nice police officer filling his quota. It was a friday night and i pulled into HJ's on West Tce, about 9. I was there maybe a minute before i saw a commodore pull up then some bike cops right after it. I thought time to go, import plus bike cops equals trouble, as they are always so nice. So i tell my mates to get in the car but i hear, oi mate pop the bonnet and get out of the car, now. As soon as it's open, blow off valve that's regency for you. I didn't want the bov i was going to change it to a standard one but broke it putting it on. But anyway, he then informs me i'd be finding another way home cause i'm impounding your car for dragging the commodore. I say mate it wasn't me, it was a black 33 parked four spots down just there. He then spends the next five minutes grilling me, i'll look at the security camera's and prove it was you, don't lie to me, etc... etc... Thankfully another cop turns up and says no it wasn't me as my passenger wasn't wearing a hat. At this point i am relieved but feeling like i've committed a major crime. I askied him, so even though i've done nothing wrong your still going to defect me? Yep but i'll be nice and give you 72 hours instead of 24 to clear the defect. Then after he puts the sticker on my windscreen he takes the backing (the bit he peels the sticker from), looks around then throws it into my cabin. Now granted i shouldn't of had the bov but he was such an arrogant prick and un-necissarily agressive. So now i have the joys of regency.

Ahh, i rekon she asked you a few skyline related questions. The tone was ideal not so loud it sounded the same through the revvs but the true rb purr, although i haven't heard it full throttle. That the night he careered off the freeway into a tree?? Pretty scary stuff as i was infront, the death of fun. I remember when n/a stacked it into a curb in the wet. It's not a powerful car at all, he just couldn't drivr. I need it back, it's like losing a limb and seeing others drive past just adds insult to injury.

Ha, of course. I'd hear it pull up or see it on the camera a black 33 in the carpark and it was yours. It was a fine looking line up there for a while, nice photo opportunity. The gts-4 was the other managers and the n/a one was a bit dodgy and he always used to crash it somehow. We had all lanes at shell occupied by 32's once. Good ol' times. Yeah they were with sinful and sunkist plates. I first saw your's when i was coming out of subway and the look and noise was unbeatable, but anyway. Yeah that's true, good old Domino's that was a long time ago. I used to try to talk to anyone in an import especially skylines and there weren't any other 33's that looked as nice as yours. I think Joel and Amanda had 33's but that was it. I still hear updates with your's through the roommates.

Yeah i was. I should of introduced myself properly but i wasn't quite with it that day, never a good time before i go back to work.

Some of you may remember my post about getting screwed over by "mechanics" in adelaide. Since therapy i can now openly speak about that. So i thought i might get my rear quater panel fixed, obviously by a panel beater and bring some pride back into my 32. I bought the panel myself and had it freighted to the workshop. I was told it would be ready in 4 - 6 weeks. So 2 months later it hasn't even been started yet. Just sitting in his shed looking all depressed while i drive a sierra around that can't even go the speed limit. The reason it hasn't been started is, quote; "i'm waiting on a panel beater to come over from Tasmania". Now he is a panel beater / spray painter. I can understand if he hasn't got time because he is busy but telling me bulls**t lies has made me quite agrivated. He won't even give me a quote. So i want to take it elsewhere but after the trouble i've already been through does anybody know a reliable, reputable, quality panel beater? I dream of a magical place in a far away land where mechanics and customers live as one and we co-exist in peace and harmony. Can anyone help???

They scrub hell bad, the guards need to be flared to fit them in. There rolled but it isn't enough. It was a dodgy fuel pump. Likewise

Rear quater needs panel beating and a pesky regency needs to come off. It's a lot better than mikes' although i was aware of how he drove it. I wanted it for the wheels and gtr kit, was going to put a new motor in it. I'll look forward to seeing your progression with her, normally see her parked in random places. It's nice to see a rarer import driving round, especially in a small town.

Want to sell that one and fix up my first 32. Had thoughts of a 34 or 32gtr. I'm glad your putting rims on her. That will complete the package quite nicely.

Nah, that was david's. Mine was stock looking with exhaust. Was quite right foot happy.

That was his, it broke down on palmer road and som c**ts kicked it in or something. That's my second 32, i had my first one when i was working at Domino's, so long ago.

Out past palmer, maybe you've seen the black 32 with the dented back end with the boot tied closed with rope?

do i know you? haha. Prolly not, i remember when you first had it in the bridge before you migrated to mannum. Parked out on the road behind the cop shop, mostly in it. Pretty sure your old mans the cop there. Whenever a new import floats around i always take notice...

Just recently i got my car regency defected by a motorbike cop, who are the worse to deal with, i guess they needed to fill their quota. Anyway i took my car to ***EDITED PM ME FOR DETAILS*** to get a defect package done plus a little work, FMIC, boost controller, duno tune and some general repairs. Now i know a few guys swear by them and i don't want to step on any toes and have brilliant dealings with them in the past. They got it cleared through regency (bill was several thousand) but i ran into a few problems the day i picked it up. The car was slower than before i took it there and got slower as the days went by. It turned out to be a faulty fuel pump. I got that fixed and ran very well, only for it to break down at 5.30 in the morning. Smoke out the bonnet. The entire wiring loom from battery to firewall completely melted. To make matters worse some F*** kicked in the back quarter and going to cost 2g to get it panel beated, bastards. The side skirt they 'repaired' and stuck with silicone, which expands under heat, has come off looking quite ugly. At ****** they snobbed me off and tried telling me that the standard motor wasn't designed to revv and the standard turbo was why it was so slow. Being dyno tuned, I would of thought thay would of picked up any problems. Felt that since i am young they didn't know what i was talking about but i was a large walking pinata. Like i said before, don't want to upset anyone but becarefull who you take your baby too.

G day, Instead of fixing my broken motor i want to do an RB26 conversion with my 32 GTS-T. We know how to chage over motor, clutch etc... but not to sure about the wiring. Can i run a standard RB26 computer? Are the dash, tail lights etc.. run through the ECU? To put it bluntly, we don't have the slightest clue with electronics. Can anybody help me???

As many of you probably know autofest is on at murray bridge. There was the wheelworx tarmac army doing demo drifting runs throughout the weekend, but for some reason they left today. We were told they had to go to mallala but there are'nt any events scheduled there today. They are still on the schedule for the afternoon session and tomorrrow as well. Does anyone know why they left???

Yep into my side, luckily i had my window down and side intrusion bars.

I don't have abs so the skid marks were something like 50 or 60 meters long before the impact.

Just infront of the drivers door.
