Hi all, My power steering is making weird noises whenever you turn the wheel, so i went to check the reservior level and i can't find it. Where is it located on a r32 ST? I am not mechanically minded, so please don't remind me and i have searched before posting. Any constructive help would be appreciated, Cheers.

This isn't a defect story or a whine but perhaps a warning of what not too say. I recently got pulled over and regency defected. I also got fined $203 big ones and 1 demerit point for; "non compliance with vehicle standards". What this means is, that if you knowingly drive your car on the road and you know it's defectable, you can get fined. The cop was going around pointing out things that were defectable x2, "oil leaks" and no drivers side mirror. I said, i know there's no mirror, i just have to wait untill next pay. That warranted him; going through the book, calling up the area supervisor (or something like that) to get the proper code and then fining me. It took a little while but he managed to get all the paperwork filled out. So, if any cop ever asks you if you knew something was like that, say "no i have no idea" and save yourself some aggravation and some loot.

Was reading "bonnet issues" and was wondering if anyone knows if a r32 GTR bonnet and grill is a clean swap onto a r32 GTST? Also, i have a set of rims, 265/45/18. The rim sits outside the guard but the tyre wall flexis inward so the tread is under the guard. Is this legal? Some police say it isn't and others say as long as the tread is under the guards it's legal. Also, also, have to go over regency and i have removed the air conditioner radiator etc... will i need to put it all back on before it'll get passed? I'm on holidays and bored so i thought i'd share. The history of my 32. Bought it 4 years ago when i was 18 (now 22). About 8 months later i had it regency defected, then had an accident in it 2 weeks after. It needed the whole drivers side front and rear panels and door. It sat around for a bit under 2 years untill i got it "fixed". Took it too a panel beater and he did such a bad job that the door ajar warning light is always on. Then off to the mechanic who got the defect clear (about 3 months ago). They did such a bad job that the car was running worse than before i gave it too them. I honestly don't know how it got passed. It was running 5 cylinders but i managed to fix it myself. It was running so well i forget how much performance they had as i hadn't driven one in so many years. I drove it once for about 2 hours and handed the keys over to a mate as he needed a car. What a mistake. 2 days later he rear ended a ute with a tow ball which destroyed my new Greddy Intercooler, reo bar, air conditioner radiator, split the radiator and pulled in the headlights. Yet again somehow i manage to fix it myself (took me ages) minus air conditioning parts last saturday. It was running perfectly. Then 24 hours later it got regency defected. I've owned the car about 4 years and has only been driven on the road for a total of about 11 months. I do believe i'm destined to never own a skyline. Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I hate: Holdens, obviously; Three putting; When i walk through a spiders web in public and thrash my arms around to get it off and everyone stares as they can't see it so i look like i've just got out of Glenside; When i trip over and turn it into a run to fool people, it never works; Chics who wear clothes that are two sizes too small then get upset when you take a look; When you stay at a hotel and they tuck in the sheets way too tight so you sleep with your feet at angles.

I remember reading on here somewhere and i have done searches but can't find what i'm looking for. I have the regency defect and my rego has expired. As we know you can't register a defected car. However, if you have the defect signed off and a regency appointment you can drive untill that date, the standard procedure when the car has rego. I thought I read, that if you go to the regency park office with the paperwork they can issue you with some type of rego so the car can be driven. I have the defect paperwork and has been signed off in the past. I have made several calls and been told that this isn't the case. Can anyone help??

Couldn't agree with you more. BOV's are major wank factor and aren't that good for the car anyways. I'm just a little uncoordinated, i mean how can you possibly break a standard BOV??
