Can you get a universal remote and train them to work with all these different remotes?
Therefore having 2 or 3 different devices may not be such a hassle if you can just use one remote...
I know logitech makes these kind of remotes for home AV remote but not sure if they'll work in the car...
With GPS, has anyone tried the Garmin performance when going to concrete jungle like Sydney CBD?
I went to Sydney on the weekend and while I wasn't using Garmin since I didn't drive myself there, I was using my PDA with Destinator 6.
As soon as I got into the Sydney CBD, the poor damn thing spins madly and can't find out what direction I'm going,
got me lost in vicious George St-Sussex St one way circles... Took me half an hour just to escape the city to the north
or to the south. The GPS signals must have bounced madly back and forth on the buildings' glass facade, so not a fault of the software.
Either that or the built in NMEA receiver is just not as good as Sirf based receiver.
Outside the CBD area, the GPS is fine, as is in Melbourne as I only had very few problems in Melbourne CBD - but the buildings
here are not as tall and crowded compared to Sydney...
