  5. Rob, at the moment there is no R34 GTT front rotors ready made yet. So we're trying to figure out whether a R34 GTR rotors 324mm can be trimmed down to 310mm. The only thing to check is whether the size of R34 GTT centre hub, which is where the rotors fit over the stud, is the same with GTR. The R34 GTR rotors has an inside hole diameter of 130mm. If your GTT wheel hub is bigger than this, then it cannot be done. So I'm waiting news from a couple of R34 GTT owner who is willing to take off their stock disc rotors and measure their centre wheel hub diameter.
  6. If I managed to find some nice brembos to go, I'll get some groovies and take some pics for you... but might be a few months away, and I really mean quite some months away.
  7. official tool? is that for real?
  8. this is a v35 forum, you can move your post to turbo forum... but for the record std is 184kw or about 150kw-ish at rear wheels. std cooler probably wont get you past 9psi even with exhaust. get a fmic and you can boost it up to 12psi with std turbo - no idea about vl cooler
  9. maybe you wanna post the pics on a different thread just to keep this thread on topic regarding V35 stereo, dvd & satnav only...
  10. Yes, $16k that sounds about right - walk in walk out drive away solution... Not sure about HKS S/C - I got a magazine from Hong Kong here which everything in chinese but it shows an option of either HKS TT kit or SC kit - The HSK TT kit was fitted to 350Z and the SC kit was fitted to the V35... probably will cost about $10k not including shipping and labour.
  11. I don't have reverse pack, but still does the beeping. constant beeping intervals, doesn't get faster as approaching an object while reversing...
  12. I'd like to find out where the bloody beeper too!
  13. I spoke to them (APS) and they quoted me $17k with no guarantee it will fit. that is their std 500HP twin turbo kit for 350z.
  14. oops double post - see below.
  15. Hi Ryan, Yes my padshoe application list from EBC website doesn't list greenstuff pads for brembo calipers on GTRs, I checked around with RDA and they told me they can find it even though the part no. was not on the EBC's part number, weird... I will double check the price again and let you know asap... Rianto
  16. Are they a lot stronger than the V35's stock non-brembo calipers?
  17. Group Buy 30 is rolling... the following orders received: - DaveR31 (payment clears) - cjpwrx (payment clears)
  18. Does stock R33 caliper fits V35 perfectly? gtst or gtr?
  19. Can you get a universal remote and train them to work with all these different remotes? Therefore having 2 or 3 different devices may not be such a hassle if you can just use one remote... I know logitech makes these kind of remotes for home AV remote but not sure if they'll work in the car... With GPS, has anyone tried the Garmin performance when going to concrete jungle like Sydney CBD? I went to Sydney on the weekend and while I wasn't using Garmin since I didn't drive myself there, I was using my PDA with Destinator 6. As soon as I got into the Sydney CBD, the poor damn thing spins madly and can't find out what direction I'm going, got me lost in vicious George St-Sussex St one way circles... Took me half an hour just to escape the city to the north or to the south. The GPS signals must have bounced madly back and forth on the buildings' glass facade, so not a fault of the software. Either that or the built in NMEA receiver is just not as good as Sirf based receiver. Outside the CBD area, the GPS is fine, as is in Melbourne as I only had very few problems in Melbourne CBD - but the buildings here are not as tall and crowded compared to Sydney...
  20. Yes, it's expensive but not much other option if you don't wanna loose the stock audio ir trip computer. But I did once read about car pc, have you considered one? might be able to cover most of the av entertainment side... can be installed out of sight too. If it can be installed with a gps software then you could have navigation all in one remote.
  21. I personally have: - DVB/T (IR Remote) - GPS/Aust Navigation (RF remote) plan to add: - Multi disc DVD changer with either IR or RF remote
  22. Speak to Chris Rogers on this forum, I know he does at least most of all that above. You can keep your factory bose and have those features sitting on top and working - but you need to have your car transported to QLD to his place for a few days... I'll let Chris confirm that with you.
  23. so far only lexus is quite sucessful, but infiniti (nissan) and eunos (mazda) were not.
