i skipped most of the replys so its poserbly all ready being said. but yes you can do a burnout in an auto and it is easer then a manual. just bring the car to a stand still. step on the brake bring the revs up release the brake a smudge, (this locks up the front brakes) keep incressing revs and you should have the rear wheels burning. then just controll how much power you give it and how much brake you wont (to controll how fast the car moves)

If not, they want me to put a silencer in - can this be done to a HKS full cat-back 3.5 inch exhaust - if so, where would be the best place to get it done? silencers are illagle. i was going to get one put in mine but was not allowed. if epa/ cops see it by by.

hey mate glad to see you come to vic the place to be 'defected' (old joke atm) any with the speed limits be very carefule as there are fixed cameras every and cops to. as for speed limits in the areas youve said they change as with evey thing. so look out for the sings, thier white with a red circle with the speed limit in black on the in side of the circle. if you dont know the speed limit of the road sit on 50km/h or a bit slower then what every body else is doing. hope you fun when you come down too bad you an't here for the serneto cruise on the 21st. have a look in the events section for all the info on it if you wish to come. chears brentt

just a question would you let a 21 yo own and drive a GTR. the reason for my asking is one of the guys from r31skylineclub is planing on doing so. personaly i think i would wait untill at least 24. do a few more track days and driver traning courses. plus he also told me he wont be doing any driver course in it as he feels he should be fine .

k guys iv'e had a few people pm me and ask when will i be orgonising anotehr cruise and i know a few people would like a black spure run. so ill do one. DATE: 14 april saterday TIME: 3pm meet for 4pm leave. MEET POINT: Greensbrough car park. next to safeway and behind the KFC. look at map provided its were ive circuled WERE TO: King lake CB CH: 14 (code 00) REQ: Full tank of gas. Rember guys this ant a offical SAU event so no insurance (and i should know ). Alos this run has being voted (by cars guide sunday the 8 or april) one odf the top 10 drive in vic, and is aslo dangerous esperly at night. so i ask all who come to be cearfule. i would req a CB radio as this allows you to moniter what is haperning during the cruise. can be brought for apx (thats what i payed for mine $30 from dick smith. im not going to post up whos comeing, we will leave at 4pm

might not be poping but detonating. i would also change leads unless done in the last 6 mounths or so and get the timeing checked

yea basicly took a decent chunk of paint of the bumber and just under the head light ill put up a pic when i get home

yea saw it on the news just then as they (the guys whos car cought fire) is complaing it took to long to put out 4min responce time. i say why didn't you have fire exstingusher (i cant spell) and why didn't you go over the car before it hit the track. now he might have done these things and yes these things do happen. well im going to get my self a fire bottle quick smart

hey guys well hears the spill on the crash. i had poked the nose of my car no more then 1/2M out from the curb (we were in anglesea nea the shell which was used on the offical gor). and danial (cheeze and matt were going block the road to allow the cruise to get away as one. so i had being watching the trafic and cheeze to see whn he would block the road. a 4x4 was the last then danial blocked the road and i had just completed a head check and about to move when the asian driver cliped my front, as he had come out from one of the drive ways/ side roads and i hadn't seen him till he colected me. so we changed detale (i lost the cruise and didn't catch up till apollo bay. any way ive spoken to my insurance compay and all's good, i'll take the car down this week to get it done if i can.
