  1. sorry to hijack, i didnt think you could adjust the ssqv's? either way going atmo on mine the car would randomly stall(sometimes going around corners at 8o ks, very scary) but eventually the ecu worked it out and i havent had any trouble for months
  2. for the past month or two i have been getting 260kms to a tank! lol. had a new turbo on and it was running rich then, turbo decided to shit itself and so stocky is back on, havent been for a tune cuz im saving money to rebuild the turbo and then get it tuned. i go through a full tank every 4 days lol
  3. i thought screamers only made the noise once the wastegate opened and is maintaining Full boost? i.e so if your controller or whatever is set to 12 psi, then every thing below would not make a noise? please tell me if im wrong im dying to work it out without getting one lol

  7. no dude thats whats holding it on, i think i used a really long pair of needle nose pliers and stuffed around with it for a bit. just got to be careful
  8. hey guys,just getting rid of some stuff leftover from the beast after upgrading. pics will be given when asked for (just pm) ALL PARTS FROM R32 GTST coupe Stock exhaust from turbo back - $80 Stock intercooler (done 125xxx ks before removal) still in good condition will clean up a bit before sale - $30 Stock spoiler (not sure what type) still in great condition no scratches, colour is black pearl with metallic flake (factory colour) still has wiring for brake light - $80 gtr resistor pack - BRAND NEW FROM NISSAN!!!! wasnt used becuase the new computer was able to run the new injectors without it. - $170 if i think of anything else i will post it up. i am located in brisbane 4500, prefer pick up on exhaust but can send out if needed. will be happy to post at buyers expense.   13. oh yeah and while i was up the coast today spotted blue r34 gtr plates "irving" f*ck that is the sexiest car i have ever seen. shortly after i saw a yellow 34 parked on the side of the road for a bit looking great aswell
  14. on my way over to a mates this arvo and spotted black 33 gtr with plates arr33 ( pretty sure thats not it exactly but you get the idea lol) very tidy man looking good

  18. after thinking about it a bit harder i think that would be the smarter choice too. having said that, anyone got a rb25 for sale lol.
  19. i have decided to upgrade my car (r32 with rb20det) by this i mean injectors, turbo, fuel pump, ecu. but i have always been a fan of the rb30 and i have one sitting in my front yard as my first car was r31, i have the means to get it rebuilt and what not and still get a nice turbo, ecu and that junk, the third option is to get a rb25 put in and upgrade all that. i am currently leaning towards the rb30 becuase this will be closer to my 250- 300 rwkws mark, either that or a mid 12's car. obviously the rb25 and 30 will get there allot easier than an rb20. but my question is which one would you prefer in your car. its not a drag car or anything i just want it to be a quick(very quick) streeter (cuz no-one else has done this before........ lol). yes its vague i know and probably a little stupid, just after opinions and ideas. cheers
  20. spotted a white 34 going past my work on sat arvo bout 5 (bws lawnton, next to the tav) with sau stickers on "quarter window". and also last night at cold rock i spotted a red 33 with club stickers, i was in the black 32.
  21. haha just gave "him" a ring, its the wrong number and the dude sounded pretty pissed, must be a joke or something
  22. i used the same kit on my 32, to trim the blades i used a stanley knife/box cutter whatever you want to call it to trim just the corner of the blades that come in contact with the pipe, assuming its for a 33 should still only be a couple of centimteres at most. as for the nipple thing, i didnt do it on mine but then again i am under the impression that only 33's have to do it... hope that helps
  23. its running 12psi but thats without the controller... just a line from nipple to actuator like stock. we did try winding it but still did the same thing, might have another go tmrrw.
  24. hey guys, this is actually my car we are talking about. as howie said, we have swapped the direction of the controller just incase the arrow on it was pointing the wrong way, we have checked the hoses and all that being very thorough and still nothing will work. im not that worried about it at the moment cuz its running about 12 psi. also the other night when i was coming off an on ramp at full boost, the car sounded normal below 5000 rpm, however after that it started to make a noise kinda like a baby screaming. its got me thinking, could the turbo be starting to fail from the boost not being properly controlled? its a weird thing thats happening but any help would be greatly apprectiated. also when you put a fmic on a 33 you have to run a hose from the piping to something else, otherwise it just keeps on boosting, so do you have to do the same for a rb20? cheers
