sorta on topic... there are always rich pricks cars at the back of the place i work at, usually bentley continentals and stuff like that. but when a black r8 rocked up the other day, god damn they are beautiful cars - plus the speedo goes to 350 lol. its makes me happy just seeing cars like that (fortunately its a weekly occurence)

hunt down a gt4 celica (3sgte), they came with a ct26 (the biggest in the toyota range?) not sure about the flange but just on size its just as big if not a little bigger than my 2530

had the same problem with my 32 stock turbo, when its on (idle will do) get a pair of pliers and pull the actuator arm to the front of the turbo, if it stops or noticeably makes a difference then your actuator is getting lazy, you can either buy a new one, a second hand one (r32 or 33, though 32 will make it run 10psi thereabouts) or buy a new turbo and what not but that really isnt needed. no big deal, just doesnt sound nice and might effect the way it builds boost if it is bad enough.

another vote here for ems great ecu imo. and the td06 great turbo, search on youtube for td06 you will find a few videos from one of our members who has one on his rb20.

lol dude i have the same problem, same ecu and everything (hks 2530) i know my tune is rich but, as u can smell petrol as soon as u turn the car on hahaha. with any luck it will be off to the tuner in the next month so i will tell you how it goes

yeah i did notice that the car builds boost much faster with the controller on, either way im happy as long as one of them does the job. cheers

yeah i know that you can shorten the rod and that just cant be bothered, cuz when i adjust the controller does sweet fck all. oh well looks like i will have to do it the hard way, cheers

hey guys just wondering when using a hks adjustable actuator and a boost controller ( turbosmart boost tee in this case) is it possible to adjust the boost with the controller or can you only do it with the actuator, unless my controller is stuffed, i can only change with the actuator (both are brand new) cheers for any help

mate thats the fuel cut that he's hitting. used to happen on my mates gt4 when he wound up the boost, checkout toymods.com (might be ".au" aswell not sure) and have a search and ask around on there. there is a mod to stop it but is only a temp fix, though it does the job well

tyre placard says max 17' 9.5 so i guess it cant be to hard to fit em...?
