Are 33 GTR standered AFMs worth anything? off of a car done 90xxx?
Look fine nothing broken etc?

What are you talking about here?? As ive been quoted $600 + for the N1 pump?

Isnt a 300kw falcon only measured at the fly wheel? Or are you going on dyno figures?? BEcause if it is a fly wheel measurementu can cut 15 to 25% off of the kws
Yer true i hear that DAN just not looking to rush into it and regreat it later...
Is turbo choice going to play much part on the rebulid. IE if i pick the smaller of the turbos and only make around say 330 kws will i still need everything on the list and the more expensive parts? like i have been told the engine will hold out no probs for the -5s at around 380 kws... Can i down grade anything more to suit the smaller turbo set up?

Ok im going through an engine rebuild at the moment for my 33 gtr.
I have narrowed down the turbo choice on reading through the engine build up to either the Garrett -7s/9s or -5s....
ANd have been told they make roughly -
-7s/-9s are 330rwkw or so.
-5's are 380rwkw or so.
My thing is the -5s are laggier then the other 2 but just how much laggier?
When do each spool up roughly and then hit full boost?
Mines just a road car so mayb i should have the quicker spool of the -7s over the 5s?
But then 380kws does sound quite nice!!

R33 crank
Forged pistons and rings
H beam rods
Gates belt
Nissan gasket set
Mlsr steel head gasket
Acl race bearings
Remove engine , remove accessories refit engine and fit accessories run in and tune
combine that with a set of Garrett -9s?
Lewis Engines any one used them???
They any good??
There in Adelaide and have quoted me for the whole thing and tuning and they are pretty good!
But do they do good work??
