  1. Hi All,

I've been looking hard, but can't seem to find an exact answer.

Do i NEED to upgrade my coil packs for 300-320rwkw?

    Parts soon to be installed:

    -HKS gtss turbs

    -fuel pump

    -600cc injectors

    -Z32's

    -full exhaust

    -pfc

Car is stock (~90,000kms) at the moment and the stock coils seem to to run fine.

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

  2. I use RDA rotros (group buy) with EBC redstuff pads, RBF600 fluid and braided lines for my R32 GTR. although i haven't taken it to a track, i do take it regularly to the mountains and i push it hard - especially on the down hill. No problems with the rotors so far and no fade.. now imagine if i had cooling ducts to each corner and suspension

  3. Hey bro,

I've been after these rims for a while for my gtr, but i can't find anyone that sells them. Otomoto Australia used to distribute them (i spoke to them today actually) and apparently they had a dispute with them about something and no longer import any of their products. He said "if we can't get them, no one can." I don't know how true this is, but i'm going to find myself an importer/agent and get them that way. i'm looking now so if i find someone i will let you know.. I think they will be about $500 a piece landed (if you want second hand = good luck).

    Cheers,

  4. Hi All,

I'm looking at getting a 48mm thick Trust radiator (part no. 12023700) for my r32 gtr from nengun (http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/aluminium-radiator), but i'm not sure if it is a straight bolt on like they say it is because i have heard people say that the factory shroud doesn't fit on some models. Can anyone confirm this? I have searched and searched but found nothing. And does it come with a radiator cap??

    Any help will be appreciated

    Cheers,

  5. Hi All

I need the following for my r32 gtr:

    - Crank angle sensor (RB26)

Please PM me if you have any of these parts.

    Cheers,

    Alex

  7. Hey alexK where did you get yours from? and for how much? I thought that that a full kakimoto N1 exhaust replaces up until the dump pipes, as in the three peice one.

Are they throaty sounds like a classic V8 or more turbo type sounding....

    cheers

    R

    pm sent

    They are very throaty

  8. Would like to know what produces more torque (and what parts of the rev range)? Just say i was after 350awkw on my 32 gtr which i mainly use as a weekend warrior (heaps of hill climbs, few tracks, etc). Would a correctly sized single turbo be better off than a pair of 2530's for this sort of application? I have read some good threads debating single vs twin, but wanted to be more specific about the different torque curves both these setups produce. Any feedback would be appreciated

    Cheers,

  9. I have the RDA grooved and dimpled on my 32gtr with EBC red stuff pads and they are awsome.. pads need to be warmed up a bit though, but i've given these rotors a good flogging (mainly hill climbs and back down ) and they haven't warped or cracked yet. Should be more than good enough for the street.

  10. Mate if cost was the deciding factor we would all be driving Corollas and this thread would be about the latest brand of LED washer nozzles and and pros and cons of coloured wiper blades.

The truth is the GTR is a money pit and money saved on turbos will be spent somewhere else anyway so you may as well make that pretty low on the list of factors when deciding which turbos to buy and go for the turbos which suit your application best - within reason.

    My 2c.

    That's a fair call.

I'm not trying to start a fight, just offering a different view, thats all.

  11. HKS turbos are good but they have to be rebuilt more often and can cost 3 times as much to rebuild than a garrett turbo. Garrett turbos are cheaper to buy, cheaper to rebuild, and alot easier to source than the HKS (including parts).. and as BOOSTD said, there's f**k all difference between the two.

Edit: Sorry everyone.. wrong information supplied here, my bad
