  1. man i work at a truck exhaust shop and i made one for mine out of vented stainless steel grill which goes around truck stacks.. i can make you on if you want i'll try and take some pics and put them up

    hey mate,

if its possible could you take some pics of the grill and post them up on here... i would love to see how it looks.

    cheers :)

  2. if you cut that middle section out wont that mean you have to cut the reo? I think it runs behind that piece of plastic.

I have been wanting to cut mine out as i have the same bar but dont want to void my insurance by cutting out structural metal would be good for flow!

    agreed!

i pretty sure your on the money there mate!

i havent done it yet, but by the looks of it you would have to cut the reo bar as well if u do decide to cut the plastic part.

in my opinion dont cut it! i know it does defeat the purpose of having a fmic but dont give the insurance company any reason to void ur insurance..

    my two cents!

    cheers

  3. Thanks for all the replies guys. Basically I am looking for a darker than legal metallic tint. Most of the tinting places wouldn't do darker than legal so that's why I have to look for the side liner's.

hey, i think sunblock will do whatever percentage tint u want, 20 percent and even lower, but if its lower than 35% then they dont give u that sticker to certify its legal. also note that most car manufacturers already have some form of film on their windows, which will inturn the lower % even more. there are some places out there that put these legal stickers on there only to cop fines for illegally putting the 35% VLT sticker on when in fact the tint isnt what at the level of what it specifies.

note that for the front two windows (driver's & passenger) the legal limit is 70 percent i think it is...(which is pretty much clear window) with the rear & quarter windows being allowed the 35%

    Hope that helps,

  4. "SUNBLOCK tinting" on main north rd, near synergy and scottys motel do tint from $220

not sure about the quality your after, but had a few mates get tint from there and they seem to be happy.

if your worried there is a warranty against fading, etc...

the life of the warranty will be over after you sell your car though.

    hope that helps mate!

  5. I tried to order a "Cooling-Pro Universal Intercooler - Large Type - Tube & Fin - 600 x 300 x 76 - 3 Inch inlet/outlet - Price: $195 Delivered" Via email and DD on the 18th via email ad never got a reply *poke* I dont need the kit, just the core.

hey mate, patience my friend :bunny:

i am in the same boat as you, i paid direct deposit on monday for the exact same core your after and only recieved confirmation yesterday that it will be coming on friday. btw do you know if your dd has cleared yet? cos i think it takes a few days to clear and actually be recognised on justjap's bank account

Steve is in Japan atm, and justjap are pretty busy as we speak so yeah..just be patient...hehe

    goodluck mate!

    cheers

  6. yeah but due to vandals they stick them in a big pressure cooking hotbox ... not trying to justify just find reason

imo best to just slow down through all intersections thats where crazy ppls try and make up time

    cheers Steve, :)

you bring up some good points...though i believe its best just to stick to the speed limit at all times (i know its tempting..especially in performance cars). correct me if i am wrong, but ive heard that there is a 10% speed limit "cushion" before you get fined??, but how do we know that our spedos are actually calibrated 100% precisely..best just to stick the limit for peace of mind...and no hassles.

    cheers,

  7. Shouldn't be any more than $110, I managed to get mine for $90 IIRC

give sprints auto a call mate

got mine from sprints for 90 bucks direct fit for the r33, no need to cut the adapter or anything.

    goodluck mate

  8. been, there done that........and get ready for the fine.... the trafic light camera ones always come LATE!

    agreed!

i have a good mate who works in the force, he tells me that the traffic light camera fines/offences are unfortunately always taking their sweet time....before they arrive in the mail box

another interesting point to mention is that the same mate reckons that these red light & speeding cameras have a tendancy to malfunction if they experience excessive heat. i think he mentioned they tend to fail after 38 degree or higher temps!.... anyone else heard this?

its just interesting to ponder the fact that each of these red light cameras cost alot of money.... (upto $250,000 each i think it is?) and to think...with all that money going into them...you would expect them to be weatherproof.

    just my two cents!

in saying this though, i still hope you dont get fined there andz69...goodluck mate!

  9. Cheers to Mark, Darren , Nathan, Brenton and anyone else who’ve I may have missed who have also helped organize this upcoming cruise!
