Yeah I would've thought it would be standard for the indicators to flash to confirm locking/unlocking. Right now I go by ear and double check by pulling the handle. I'm going to install an aftermarket alarm system in soon but just thought it was odd the stock system didn't have this feature. I guess if Jack88 is right about the GT-T's not flashing with stock key fob then it's probably the same with the GT-R then.

Hey guys, Sorry if this has been covered before.. I have an 99' R34 GT-R Vspec and was just wondering if the blinkers should flash to indicate locking/unlocking of the doors when using the FOB. My mate with a 98' GT-T has his blinkers flash when locking and unlocking the car however mine don't. Is there some way to activate this? Thanks!

Spotted a white R34 that overtook me on Burwood Hwy right before the start of Mt Dandy on Friday night? Ended up following you all the way up.. then I tried going a different way to you to the top and as I started coming back down from Sky High I saw you coming the opposite way. Then I went back down and spotted a R32(? crap my memory is bad) with SAU stickers on it coming out of Maccas on Burwood Hwy. Was beside you at the lights outside knox and the same white R34 ended up beside us too. Saw so many Skylines out that night!

Okay I don't know if this helps in any way, or if it'll confuse people even more. But my 1999 R34 GT-R V-spec comes with remote locking/unlocking, keyless entry, whatever you want to call it. As mentioned it comes with a FOB with a GTR logo on the back of it. My car does not auto lock when I start the car or drive. My best mate has a 1998 R34 GT-T and his comes with a FOB too for central locking AND his car auto locks the doors the moment he starts his engine. Is there a way of enabling the auto-lock feature?

Oh that explains it! I actually just got some self tapping screws for the badge and put it in without using a backing plate. The mesh just needed to be bent a tiny bit at one sport so I could go through it with the screw without having to cut the mesh a bit.
