  1. Why not a malpassi? And why not 720cc? (standard injectors are 330cc yeah? looking at double the horsepower, and maybe a engine rebuild down the track for even more horsepower, seems to be planning ahead?)

  3. All good, got her booked in to get a tune at mercury motorsport.
  4. I've talked to a few people about this as well, and surprisingly, bigger is not always better and where you place the cooler is important too. I believe any size would decrease oil temps, but also make sure you mount it "BEHIND" the radiator. You gotta keep in mind, you want your oil above 100 degrees, and if you are driving it day-to-day on the road, with a large oil cooler, mounted right at the front, the oil will be cooled with air in the 20-30 degree range, possibly making the oil too cold to do it's work. Just to give you an idea, I'm driving a R33 turbo, no cooler at all, and it would see the mountains (Mt nebo) and QLD raceway at least once a month. with no overheating probs what so ever. But keep in mind I will be running some upgrades very soon, so will seriously consider an oil cooler upgrade soonish. sorry for the long post.
  5. Take long to get that bulb out?
  6. Any chance you would sell the hand controller separately? I'm hoping it should work with a r33 power FC. Chris
  7. Hey guys, I've installed some new injectors, and I've got a power FC, but no hand controller to change the setting to run these new injectors. Any chance someone in brissy area could lend a power FC controller for an R33, only need it for 30 mins I'm guessing. My power FC part is "PFC ECR33 010" and I'm located in Redcliffe/Deception Bay area, north side. Thanks Chris
  8. But I would go with the spitfires, extra $100 maybe, but proven by "independent" tuners and car enthusiasts. But, then again you could just buy some commodore coils from ya local wreckers for $50 bucks and wire them up, thats what I'm in the middle of doing. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vn...Rb-t178522.html
  9. With the way you carry on with "super spark" heyhey!, I doubt I would ever buy any.
  10. Thanks guys, I was starting to think maybe I dropped a bolt into the intake. Now I just gotta find me a hand controller
  11. Hey Guys, I've just finished installing some 740cc Nismo injectors in my r33. But the thing won't start. Was thinking, either I stuffed something up, or the standard ECU won't run on larger injectors? Any ideas? I got a power FC ready to go in, just haven't plugged it in yet. Thanks Chris
  12. I know justjap may have a second-hand one available for around $1000, i think. check there used parts section on there website.
  13. I've wanted to get on the track for ages and I got a R33 not long ago so I'm there, no matter what the date is. Heard some talk about oil coolers, they something worth considering? *just joined up to timeattack.com
  14. Thanks guys, I did a search on it but didn't get anything. Checking out the link now.
  15. I'm looking at buying a Skyline R33 series 1, 93 model. I'm thinking of looking over the car myself, getting a mechanic to look it over and getting a REVS check. Any other ideas or tips to make sure the car I buy is mechanically sound? (not gonna blow a head gasket or gearbox) Thanks Chris
