none of the super sport 600s are learner legal gsx600r, cbr600, r6, etc (nor do they have lams variant) just get a restricted 650 if you want to keep it legal at least it wont look like a gorilla riding a small push bike and revving its tits off At least then after 15 months you can sell easy for a decent price as well

someone at work has 1 ill ask him how high it revs @ 100 lol his not a big guy and even he looks out of place on one haha

dude trust me in saying dont get a cbr250rr, ignoring the age / import / what ever. you're a bit dude and they are TINY bikes, will A. Not be comfy B. look retarded. and C. doing freeway driving on those will be revving the tits off it. my 2c anyway at least take one for a decent ride then take say a ninja 650r for a spin as well to see difference

Rimon just make sure when you do go on the road you start off riding around some normal 50k streets / carparks until you get comfortable. Even though I had ridden dirt bikes before, when I picked up my road bike from peter stevens in ringwood i hopped straight on eastlink after riding 50meters.. was a bit scary seeing trucks right up close flying @ 100k's for my first road ride haha Birds - do you build many ZF 6 speeds? worth getting stronger input shaft when pushing ~400rwkw?

I got a suzuki gsx650f its like a gsxr but bit more upright seat positioning not a "super sport" just a "sport" bike. Got fender eliminator now as well. (this one is non lams) edit - found a pic with eliminator on: only cost me 7k (2008 model) and its decent enough for how often i ride, they have about 10 less KW than a GSXR 600, but weighs a little more. I saved like 5KG taking off the ridiculous exhaust though. and just if you dont believe me here it is: feels like you riding with a big dildo strapped to the side of the bike
