Bit Of A Dumb Question But....
GR33 vous replied to PanzyFresh's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
[]I converted my park lights to blinkers it was easy but if you run mesh you can put indicators (small ones maybe trailer ones) in the gaps at the frontattachment=160895:Picture_006.jpg -

Why did the cops pull you over?
-
I drive to Bunbury quite often, I've personally never had any trouble and have been pulled over a couple of times but I have noticed there are alot of cars with yellow stickers driving around down there so either the police are strict or there are alot "hoons" down there.
-
yeah that's all just needs modifying around the headlights.

Someone told me that you could only import from new zealand as a personal import and you have to prove you have owned the vehicle for a year, anyone know if that is true as I would import a vehicle from nz if I could get around that little hurdle.

Do Foam Air Filters Kill Your Engine?
GR33 vous replied to GR33 vous's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Yeah that's exactly what I said but the mechanic reckons they are on there because they make the outright most power, they flow the best but let the most debris throgh. I was reading on the forums and people with the hks pods say they are really loud so the part about them flowing the greatest must be true. -
Do Foam Air Filters Kill Your Engine?
GR33 vous replied to GR33 vous's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Yeah I wouldn't buy a cheapo, apparently apexi flow and filter the best, I have a K & N at the moement but it's a bit worse for wear so thinking of changing -
Try www.topstage.com.au. They make carbon fibre products also
-
Was thinking of getting one of those foam/mushroom air filters the ones made by HKS or Greddy but was speaking to someone and they said they don't filter well and sand will end up in the inake manifold and kill my engine. Anyone know if this is true? Cheers.

Sweet will give Cowley a buzz, have had these mirrors for ages and want to get them bolted on. Thanks for the help
-
Hey can anyone recommend a place that will be able to fit some c west carbon fibre mirrors and fabricate a plate to cover where the factory mirrors sit. Have called fibrevision but he's flat out, wanting a quality finish but don't know of any other places. Cheers
-
Cheers mate just tried to keep it simple but has the desired affect
-
Yeah mate thats exactly what I did, I turned my park lights into indicators, it was easy.
-
Cheers mate here's a pic of the rear. Got the bonnet for only 400 second hand and decided to paint it, in my opinion the vents stand out heaps more and it just sets the car off. Ignore the plate had a wrx before I bought the skyline
-
Nice clean looking ride mate, a good set of wheels will set your car off I'm still thinking bout changing wheels if I don't sell it
-
Heres mine. What do you reckon? Trust front and rear bars, edge side skirts, drift wing and carbon fibre bonnet (painted)

Your Valued Opinions On My New Front Bar?
GR33 vous replied to superspit's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Hey mate I put a couple of pics up in the members gallery under Front bar. I don't know how to transfer them to this thread. They were taken on my phone quite late in the day so they are not that great but you can get the idea. You can see the orange globe where the park lights are. If you want to ge indicators I was told to look for actual trailer ones as they are small and clear. Tell me what you think anyway. -
Your Valued Opinions On My New Front Bar?
GR33 vous replied to superspit's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Hey mate good choice of bar I got the same one and I don't care how many other cars have them very agressive style. I got my park lights turned into indicators so I didn't have to bolt anything on the front, not sure of the legalities but never had any problems, cost me $40 just had to fit a relay and that was it. -
Didn't think it would work. Will probably go for the hiflow option. Cheers for the feedback.
-
Want to upgrade my turbo on my 33 and looking for response rather than outright power, does anyone know if a tdo5 from an evo will bolt on with minimal fuss or is it just a waste of time and I'm better off looking for something else. Cheers any help would be appreciated.
