Hey was thinking of purchasing some wide front guards for my 33. I'm leaning towards buying a genuine brand as I've heard alot of people have troubles with the non genuine one's. I saw some M sports for a reasonable price but it says they are for a series 1, I have a series 2 and am wondering if anyone knows whether these will fit? I know the headlights on the series 2 are different, I have a trust front bar that has been modified to fit a series 2 if that is any sort of factor. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

I got a trust front bar modified for my series 2 from jetspeed fits really well think it cost bout 300-350. Really agressive looking bar with a huge section for a nice fmic.

Anyone got any imput?

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my cams but unsure of the differences between the 2 brands (HKS and Tomei). The Tomei's are the poncams In:256 and 8.8mm lift Ex:256 8.8mm lift the HKS are In:256 and 8.8mm lift Ex:264 9.0mm lift. I'm assuming the HKS may be for more top end power and may have more lump? Anyone using either of these cam setups info would be much appreciated.

Cheers thanks for the info, I've got very similar mods and would be happy with that power. Am in the process of ordering the ultimate unit now will post up my results when It's fitted. Won't be for a while though, think I'm gonna buy from Japan.

Yeah I realise you only get what you pay for and it is a cheap option. No one seems to be using it but as pfc is becoming less availiable maybe it will become more popular especailly for those with tight pockets.

Cheers for the advice really appreciate it, think I might go for the ultimate, the modifying process is a never ending one as i'm sure you know. So better to be prepared.

Hey just wondering if anyone is using e-manage or e-manage ultimate and wanted to get some feedback as I'm thinking of using it. Just have bolt on mods and really want to sort out my ignition/air/fuel curve as it's a bit shakey. Does anyone know if the ultimate version is a much better unit? Cheers any imput would be appreciated.

The media does'nt help matters, it seems that anyone with a performance car especially an import is automatically a hoon.

Yeah I didn't know either. Seen heaps of Porsches and so on driving round with them, bet they wouldn't get any hassles from the cops. Was pretty lucky though didn't get stikcered for my carbon fibre bonnet.

Not the best place to have a large meet like that, only 1 way to exit knew that's what the cops would do. Didn't get stickered but got fined for having a stick on number plate.
