Yo benno, The reason i didnt compete in these events is really quite simple. I actually went to the digs on saturday night on the assumption that it was another test and tune a la every saturday night but, It wasnt. It was a round of the bracket race series, the quickest of the quick. my outfit isnt quick enough to qualify as yet and even if it were i couldnt run simply because i am not a card carrying andra member to date any more than i am a card carrying cams member, hence my lack of participation at the sunday raceway event as well. I am the noob around here remember, give me time and i will definitely be involved in both. As for a v8 being cheaper to get going than a line, I call bullshit. You obviously havnt tried to get a bent 8 going hard. I have a near stock line already running a best of 13.8 and it wont take much to turn it into a 12 second car. Go get a vk comode and start tipping in the bucks to turn it in to a 12 second car and then count the cost. You will be very surprised. I have no truck with those that use lines for show and shine etc, Its their money and their car, they can do what they will with it. I am a little taken aback however at the amount some invest in go fast goodys just to park it and strut. It really does beg the question as to why one would bother unless it is done solely for the purpose of illegal street activity. To date i have been to qld raceway on several ocasions to watch and learn and i could count the lines i have seen on less than one hand. The drags arent much different unless its an organised night when a handfull do show up and participate. It truly surprises me that peeps do buy a performance oriented car yet only a small percentage take advantage of it. p.s. In answer to your first question Ben. I think you already know the answer. Last night I went to willowbank to watch the bracket racing. Good stuff with some incredibly tough street cars as well as full blown racers. Today I wandered out to qld raceway to watch the circuit action. Sone great racing with door handle to door handle action and some huge left nut overtaking maneuvres. What really struck me about both of these meetings was the lack of participation by Skyliners and imports in general. At willow bank last night there was the sum total of none. Yep, big fat zero. So for all the talk about the horsepower that can be extracted from a line or the launch capability of the fabled GTR The night belonged to boganville. Same at qld raceway today. Apart from one stove hot but as yet unsorted 33 gtst with a 25/30 power plant there was not one other line. I would have thought this was the ideal place for vehicles of this nature to gather and show their wares, I was obviously wrong. So what is it with the liners. Is it just a penis extension type deal. We see plenty of bragging about dyno figures and mods etc etc but when the real call to arms goes out the liners are conspicuous by their abscence. They can be found down the coast backing up and shuffling at 5 kph to get a photo so they can see their dicks on the forum but when it comes to using these cars for what they are best at...Nothing, Not murmer, not a shot fired in anger. What am I missing folks. Does owning a line automatically up your yellow blood count or was i expecting too much from my favorite marque and those who drive it.

All good babe. Worked sat. went to the drags for a looksee sat night. Picked up my gtr rear wing this morning, Went to qld raceway andf watched some sprint action for a cuppla hours. Dropped in to shano's pad for a cuppa and shot the breeze for an hour or so. Picked up a pizza. All done and now i am ready for sex. How about you?

Well I am going out to qld raceway today to watch the same gtr that blew everything in to the weeds at gatton last week. Try and tell these guys that the gtr has reached its use by date and i am quite sure your answer will be a sharp. Trot her out and lets see just how good your evo/rex is puppy. LOL
