  1. Hi There These older model AVCRs usually sell for around 10000-11000 Yen in Japan. We can have one here for you from around $250. Takes about 2-3 weeks to your door. Can also get SBCs, EVC2s etc for similar prices. Profecs A are another $70 approx. Please email for more info if interested.
  2. We can source these from Japan for you, I seen a pair of these sell for what would work out to be $600 delivered to Australia. Buying just one is possible but not quite half the price. I can get one passenger side brand new for around $490 delivered to you. Any of these options would take about 2-3 weeks to arrive at your door maximum. Please email for more info if required.
  3. How about a used 2510 for $750? These are in Japan but we can source them from around this price. Includes delivery to your door via EMS (5-7 days). Please email for more info.
  4. http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h17132241 These are 4 RX7 FC 550cc injectors, but we can source another 2 for you as well as these are fairly common. RX7 FC injectors usually sell for around 5000-7000 Yen for 4, plus other costs (commision, bank transfer, postage in Japan). Please email for more info, but as a guide (for 4) if these sold for 6000 Yen then they would cost around $110 plus postage to Australia (double this if you wanted 8). EMS would be the best option, say the package weighed 1 kg it would cost around $35. Total cost for 6 would be $255. From whoa to go would be around 2-3 weeks to your door realistically. I hope this helps, please let me know if you would like more info on what can be done for you.
  5. GTR BOVs can take alot of boost (see Ice Performances Supra in the last HPI as an example), I would doubt they were leaking unless they were quite stuffed. Possibly a leak in the connections? Are the vacuum lines all in the right places?
  6. Skylines, Silvs (and prob alot of other Nissans I assume) have a jelly, goey liquid inside the factory castor rods rubber bush. From what I have heard this is to aid vibration/sound or something along those lines. The downside is that they inevitably leak when the rubber cracks, often at an early age. Of course, if the car has adjustable castor/tension rods then this would not be a concern : )
  7. www.upimports.com.au in Melbourne are getting SEVS compliance for R32s im pretty sure. When I brought in my 89 GTR, it was when the changes to the month not year 15 Year old came into affect, and they said they were working on R32 SEVS. Did someone say they wanted an R32 GTR with a reconditioned engine?....my 32 is being run in at the moment after the rebuild and needs to be sold asap unfortunately. Well the stuffed pistons didnt come up in the auction report did they : (
  8. I would highly recommend buying in Australia if you are counting every dollar. So often cars arrive with some minor probs that all add to the cost (castor rods leaking fluid for example) which need to be fixed for the RWC. Plus if you import a 15 Year Old car at present, you will need to get the AC regassed, whereas one already here wont have to have had it drained. So if you buy one here which already has RWC, rego etc you can be more confident at what the total amount you will need to budget for. Plus the wait for the car once its paid for is a killer. Although that first trip to the docks is a very special moment between man and machine : ) Have you thought about getting a turbo auto, you can save alot of money this way, and in an NA Silvs you will be begging for more power. At least that way you could always do a manual conversion down the track, whereas if you had a NA its not worth a turbo conversion in most cases. Buying a 1.8 will also save you money, and they are cheaper to modify due to the ECU being tuneable. As mentioned, www.nissansilvia.com would answer your questions about S13s better than SAU.
  9. Great timing...just uploaded these pics to the site a few days ago: http://www.slidewizeimports.com/products/i...ex.outside.html The posts on the Racing Speed wings might be quite as high as most GT wings though.
  10. Thats a good price on the Profec, good luck with the sale ; )
  11. As the types of HCs vary depending on the vehicle type, if you knew which type it was (or serial number) that might help the sale.
  12. There are various models of Power FC Boost Controller solenoids, does it have a serial number or do you know what vehicle it is made to work with?
  13. Hi All I have a an GTR and Silvia that are in need of some compliance. My mechanic has been chasing up what the requirements are from various engineers (some say that even tyres need to be changed to DOT marked, others say new seat belts...which wasnt what I thought the 15 YO scheme was about) but he has gone on holidays so I am left to sort out what can be done. Anyway I was hoping we could get some ideas of the what is actually required to be changed and whats engineers you use in Victoria and other states. J-Spec quoted $1400 per car which is ok I suppose (flat rate for all 15ers), but seeing as the whole deal with the 15 YO rule is that anyone can do the compliance and then just take it for sign off by an engineer, I was hoping to just do all the work myself and then get it signed off. If the savings arent substantial then I suppose they will be off to UPI or J-Spec. Any ideas would be appreciated.

  15. R32 GTRs weigh 1470kg, as opposed to a Silvia which is 1100kg from memory. Whilst the suspension and general design of the chassis of these vehicles is very similar, the Silvia is a much better choice for drifting due to the light weight and easy induced oversteer behaviour. For circuit racing however, its a whole different kettle of fish, when ATTESA is introduced. This is not to say that you cant use a GTR for drift, it just isnt its ideal use. Much better than a HSV anyday... R32 GTRs can just have the fuse pulled for slip and slide, not so easy in R33s however.

    GT wings

Hi Guys We have Carbon Fibre GT Wings for sale (on eBay also as mentioned). Please check out the website for more information. These are very similar to the C-West GT Wing 2 for a fraction of the cost. www.slidewizeimports.com
  17. FREE BUMP Wow, they are some great prices, AVC-R in particular. Let me know if you get stuck with any as I would be interested if you dont have prior interest.
  18. I have had the handling pack on an R33 GTSt before and it is great ( car had standard ride height, wheels and dampers and springs), and it transformed it. I got it installed on seperate days, and I can tell you the swaybars made the most dramatic difference, particularly the rear one. I believe the castor, camber kits may come into their own if the car is lowered, but I didnt notice must of a difference on my standard ride height car. Maybe look at getting pineapples (whiteline call them KCA???) at the same time as they arent very expensive. Paid $700ish and $150 labour (included alignment) 18 months ago from Tru Track in North Melbourne, would highly recommend them. Ask for Ralph, he is a funny bloke.
  19. Cam sprockets (or Cam gears) attach to the front of the cams and allow the cams to be adjusted. Expect to pay around $250-$300 each for both intake and exhaust cam sprockets. You can get 14-15 psi by removing the little boost restrictor olive in GTRs, cost =$0 and is incredibly easy to do.
  20. Glad to hear everyone is pleased with the parts! Thanks for the support guys. Thanks Zac
  21. Hi JimX Here is a pic of the Trust shift knob as you requested. I dont open the packaging so unfortunately I dont have any pictures of them installed. These shift knobs thread onto the original shifter, like the original part. No allen keys are required at all, just a firm grip! They are about the same size of the OEM shift knob but are heavier. As R33 Shift knobs are made of leather and are quite light, the heavier weight makes the shift feel more positive. S13s have a heavy OEM shift knob, and the difference can be noticed when a lighter aftermarket unit is used instead. They are around 60mm by 35mm at a guess I would say and weigh about 250grams. I have one left with the red top if you are interested.
  22. I have 1 Trust Shift Knob in Red for $59 and 2 HKS R33 GTSt Air Filter Kits for $200 left. All the other items have now been sold. All of these are barnad new in sealed packaging. Thanks Zac
  23. All the Trust Turbo Timers are now sold, still have two Trust shift knobs for $59 each (these sell for over $90) and an SAFC2 for $549. The HKS Filter kits have been reduced to $200. 0407286697 if anyone has any enquiries, will COD anywhere.
  24. I have some of those on my R33 as well, they look really good, just clips onto the factory door trim thingy.
  25. I have an SAFC2, 2 Shift Knobs, 3 Turbo Timers and 2 Air Filter kits left. SOLD parts have been sent COD to the respective buyers this morning.
