  1. Same. Ive got a single room with the very basics... Ruby/anyone else yet to get a room, I'd advise calling them asap - I know there is a highschoool reunion happening in loxton that same weekend which accounts for some of the popularity that weekend, and would suggest anyone who misses out on a room to request that you be put on a waiting list incase anyone cancels. You guys with stags need to harden up, drop the seats, and chuck a mattress in the back like the old sandmans.. -D
  2. To quote Saddam Hussein in South Park "Relaaaaaax Guy!" ;D -D
  3. Excellent... so the hotel brigade looks to be; Pete, Andrew, Martin, Abe, Krishy, Dion, Myself... thats a good start Oh btw if any of u guys are vegetarians, you won't like my big brekky hahaha -D
  4. From the majority of the posts here, it looks like the Loxton Hotel - think they have >one< more suite/single available. however a tent and bonfire would be damn sweet - pity about fire restrictions... -D Edit - I dont know that there IS secure parking as the hotel parking is on the median strip (google earth it) but considering that its a country town, I'm not hugely concerned about the parking - if we need to, we can always park each other in at the median strip.
  5. Cara has decided to do her own thing unfortunately. If Andrew takes the 34, then definately would be best sitting with the others - im just putting the proviso down incase he gets his new ride in the next 6 weeks That said these are all just ideas, and Madaz and Heslo are the dudes who's lap this now falls into. I'm always willing to help however I can in either case. -D Edit- It also depends if pete is gonna show his bike off individually - a bike that epic can easily get away with being a single entry
  6. I've mocked up a draft layout, assuming the information in this thread is still current; This puts 3 of the best of each release -32, 33 and 34 in the middle for the centrepiece - im just filling in names atm cause i know lukes 34 is sexy and so is martins 32, no idea about which 33 would be the best on the day but i do like vu's ride. On the left be 32's and stags, on the right be 33's and 34's with 2 spares being avail - can move a stag to the right side if we need symmetry Aux positions are reserved for SLED's bike and andrews new ride (or his 34 if he hasnt sold it) Tent in the centre. Should be easy enough to rearrange the display for aesthetics If anyone on this list is pulling out, please let me know asap, and if anyone wants to come, please let us know asap. We have just under 2 months to get this stuff going, and imho it requires a bit of momentum to get right. My car is in the workshop atm, getting powdercoated rims and calipers. Getting paint touch up next fortnight, and I'll get my placard printed out and framed soon too. Then, I'll need to gauge the demand for a detailer to travel up to the riverland to detail our cars. Comments/Suggestions/Flames all welcome -D
  7. ok so dion, nightcrawler, sled, myself have got confirmed bookings anyone else on that list finalized your accomodation? Am curious to see how many people will be staying at the hotel. up a bit from the hotel is the river and no doubt a bbq somewhere, so I'm thinking of kicking a bacon and egg fried brekky. bring your own coronary bypass. also would like to know how many are keen on getting the detailing done up there... regarding music, it'll be a family day and we dont want to give the club any bad PR so there won't be any profanity, gangsta rap or death metal... I'd welcome suggestions but I've got a fair idea of what I can do... I know that most people wont be able to pump their stereos all day so I'm thinking a couple hours in the morning and a couple hours in the arvo. I'll bring my battery charger incase anyone goes low but if you dont have a deep cycle battery I wouldnt advise it. We wouldnt have it cranked loud as ew dont want to be obnoxious, but having a few cars in the display playing music would be a great display of coordination. also, I've been playing around with photoshop, making an a3 plaque of the specifics of my car. here is a very draft mockup... Anyone else want something similar made up? I'm not sure of printing or framing costs tho -D
  8. I agree but we can't force anyone to do anything. If someone has to pick up the slack, I'm as good as anyone. So far after reading thru the thread, it looks like the attendance will be as follows. Confirmed LukeENR34 SapphireGraphics mrRS4 Hostile Anthony Nismo-r33 aberax Krishy Dark.sky RBWare Vu SLED Nightcrawler Dohmar Inline6 How many of you guys have already booked accomodation? I'm sorted at the Hotel and there might be one more room for any stragglers. If you're going up there, please let me know your plans as per Ruby's earlier post : a) drive up on friday, stay for 2 nights and drive back sun b) drive up on friday, stay one night, drive back saturday night c) drive up saturday morning and drive home the same day I've done C) before but it wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it would be, thats why I'm going for option A). Got a few organisational questions ; What kind of SAU/SAU-SA motifs have we got? DO we have some kind of gazebo or tent? I'll probably cook brekky for anyone interested on the saturday morning, but you'd have to be up and at em early in the morning If I get an FM transmitter, how many people would be interested in tuning their cars into the same station and creating a massive, mega, multi car boom box? -D
  9. Cool - now who is co-ordinating this shindig? I've just spoken to Cara who is of the opinion that its Luke and Steves job now... anyone? -D
  10. true, no reason why more than one person can detail a car at a time, would be good to have a pro on side tho, with the right solutions and towels. ill call his this week and see if hes interested -D
  11. i couldnt imagine your bike taking more than an hour to detail when he did my car last year before the berri show he was at my place at 10am on sunday and left at 4pm and charged $200 and i was very very happy with the blokes work it depends if u want interior clean, exterior clean, exterior polish, underbody detailing... he doesnt do engine bay details but knows some folks who do... my engine bay aint interesting so i never bothered -D
  12. i'm sure he'll detail anything, including steak knives, if you're willing to pay the tarrif -D
  13. 1 litre of bourbon and a couple 2 litre bottles of coke zero will have me sorted for 2 nights in a row taking my laptop and my nextG connection too so i can upload pics of the show to the forum as it happens - i just hope there are enough people taking pictures, as i wont be bringing any fancy cameras (aside from my phone)... im considering asking my detailer to drive up to loxton the day before so he can detail my car and possibly others - naturally I'd need several people to make it worth his while, and he does full car details for between $50 and $200 depending on how detailed u need it... i'll probably end up driving up friday arvo so i can get there several hours before sundown... maybe have a bbq on the river for anyone else driving up on the friday too if ur keen on this idea, pm me asap -D
  14. Yeah I figure I got limited boot space as it is without worrying about a tent and slippin' bag booked my room at the loxton hotel for 2 nights. now i just gotta get the car ready and post my damn form off -D
  15. saw a black r32 on northeast road, heading towards the city around broadview maccas at 6pm yesterday... had led lights on the rear and a shopping list on the passengers side and an extremely dark tint -D
  16. yeah i know what thats like i got a new isc52mm radiator, n1 water pump, racing hose and nismo coolant put in earlier this yr next day i lose 20% of my coolant via a cracked hose in the heater core (back of the engine, real pain in the arse to get to) ahh well two steps forward, one back - always the way with the older cars -D
  17. I am an agent of chaos. I hereby nominate Madaz. -D

  22. Ask yourself that if your car gets stolen and/or written off. It'll be a heartfelt yes on that occasion -D
  23. Hah I love the comments on the advertiser website. Theyre giving the journos heaps of shit like : "The Day Winter Struck Back" ? We are not at war. This is not a to and fro affair of one upmanship and cunning play. This is weather and only weather. I was unaware of any competition between the citizens of Adealide and the Weather. I was not informed that I was to battle it out with the elements at any given opportunity. How do we score, are there points for umbrellas being turned out, or not getting wet on you morning stroll, where are the rules? Can anyone help with these pressing issues as I want to do my part in the great battle of people vs seasons. Is there also a summer series to look forward to or is it only winter that gets to play hard ball with us mere mortals? Posted by: Richard of Somerton Park 10:17am today and : I am not impressed by the gallery, these pictures are old and not enjoyable. Please update your technology to put the photos in a relevant date or category order for more pleasurable viewing. Posted by: Ryan of 10:04am today and: Good photo, Greg Higgs. As of 9:20am this morning, it seems to be the only photo of yesterday's weather. "Relive the Anzac Day storms" - why? The re-running of out-of-date photos (some even duplicated) from 4 months ago does not bode well for a pay-site Adelaide Now. " Adelaide 4 Months Ago" would be more accurate. Posted by: Jim of SA 9:28am today Ahh i bet some of these 2 bit hacks are regretting feedback -D
  24. I have a stock 32 gtr ecu with a custom tune, you're more than welcome to download it -D
