  1. Caprica. One hell of a pilot. I surely hope this show gets confirmed. Its bloody good... For those that never followed BSG, give "Caprica" a look in 10 days time when it becomes freely available (or just download the torrent) Rarely do we get shows that have such a grade production quality with really good sci fi writing.... and Im not talking the utopian Startrek crap, BSG/Caprica is about as character driven and realist as u can get... (well bar space above and beyond but hey it only lasted for one season ;( ) -D
  2. lol that sucks man, do they ever do the rubber glove anal probe on ya? i reckon that'd be the worst -D
  3. so how many thai ladyboys did you buy this time round brew? -D
  4. Hahah sorry man, I just couldn't help myself. I bet you get it ALL THE TIME (At least you'd have an excuse if you DID kill them -D
  5. krishy u playa mad lady killa i reckon we should have a figurehead bust like the sailing ships of old would have on their prow.... usually a bare breasted woman i think we should give krishy some fake boobs and make him the mascot votes? -D
  6. SILENCE! I KILL YOU!!! -D
  7. Its not harassment if she consents -D

  9. man i wish.... she could get some pork on her fork > (Probably going to regret saying that one day but oh well, sux to be honest ahah) -D
  10. Commence bloodnut baiting... ... ... Now. -D
  11. I've sent an email off to my local MP (Kate Ellis) and asked her to clarify why the e85 is no longer for sale at bowsers. If she gets back to me and is interested in meeting up, I might be able to get some answers for ya'll.. -D
  12. Yeah thats cool man Its not so much an expression of interest - thats what this forum is for as well, but its moreso to run thru a few of the logistics required... Thanks for volunteering to come Brendan, no doubt your input will be invaluable For those that can't make the BBQ, I'll take down minutes and email to anyone who is interested (or just post in this thread maybe).. We can always have other meet ups - Villies this fri will be a good start, and anyone who is keen to provide their $0.02c is more than welcome. Thanks -D
  13. Clisby auto electrician on Main North road (near Main North Nissan) did pretty good work on my car. I reckon they'd easily be able to fix the aircon esp if you could print out the howto guide and give it to them (I did that fix myself) Give em a go -D
  14. So in other words, you're letting your personal grievances affect your opinion about the viability of a club, composed of (hopefully) many other people? Thats really mature.... I also wasn't under the impression that organizing dinner is the benchmark for showing interest... So again this comes down to personal bias... I seem to recall Luke(ENR34) being at the meeting last wed, he has organized quite a lot of stuff, including orders from japan. I can attest to that, having bought interior trims from his japanese source. And I doubt that it'll be just him involved. So you're pissed off that people didn't come for your bbq and salad and that somehow means the club isn't going to get members? O-kay. -D
  15. I've said before I'm not putting my hand up for anything except trying to get it started. I'm not telling you to hush but the last 3 posts you made had absolutely nothing constructive.. i personally would prefer you to paste your two paragraphs, so we can address it instead of hiding behind 'what ifs' luke, I do plan on pushing an agenda for the track warriors at the bbq, such as getting the cams licence (as i posted above)... and driving courses - group buys if you will at the least. my work prevents me from having anything approaching a regular schedule but I can't commit - thankfully there are others who have stepped up to the plate. I already have an idea to nominate someone as Public Officer. One thing that disturbs me....if you guys are saying that you would have supported the previous endeavour, then why not now? Have you got something against the interim comittee, or is it genuine pessimism ? If neither, then what? What is so different? You guys are expecting us to be saying what is and isn't going to happen - thats entirely what the BBQ is about. To exchange ideas and see what everyone wants out of it. Rome wasn't built in a day, and its entirely unreasonable for you all to expect that any one of us trying to get this going has any definitive answer about what is and isnt going to happen - it all depends on you, and if you think its worth a damn. And for those who think that SAU is going downhill, or is any worse now than what it has ever been - I strongly disagree. Note that. -D
  16. bahahahah gold
  17. damn straight... thats just wrong -D
  18. look steve, we know you're skeptical but pessimism really doesnt help... thanks -D
  19. cams licencing will be a big priority as will motorkhana/mallala skid pan/track days and dare I say AIR if/when it re-opens would also be organizing defensive driver courses and more advanced ones for the cams holders. heslo threw up an idea about this up last year and there was a fair amount of interest, it just didnt follow thru at that time since it was nearing xmas. be patient. if you see "a few people wanting to create a club for the sake of creating a club" then tell us at the meeting what in your view would constitute a good club. Or even do it here if you have commitments, tho judging from your earlier statement I'll be looking forward to seeing you at the bbq -D
  20. theyre not bad if you shop around and get a quote before you call them. they initially quoted me $120 for a speedo cable and nissan was charging $120 for them new, so they decided to sell me the second hand one for $70 (iirc). just get your own mechanic to put the stuff in. much more peace of mind -D
  21. I thought people watched FnF movies to see Vin Diesel do his 90 minute impersonation of a beige wall... -D
  22. Similarly I got let off once when I had an expired licence... I'd forgotten all about it.... cop had pulled me over for licence, rego and bretho test and when he saw that it had expired on the first of january, he gave me 7 days to get it renewed (it was a saturday i was pulled over and i renewed it the monday)... good bloke imho everyone gets caught out occasionally, sometimes u get a nice guy, other times you get someone having a bad day -D
  23. 4am means that he was either leaving easter eggs or going around to peoples houses and stealing them and since I dont think he looks like the easter bunny, I'm betting on the latter -D
  24. "The past is always with us." I'm with this as well. last thing I want to see is a dictatorship but I think that kel and ruby do have the best interests at heart, in spite of miscommunication on this forum... there are loads of things to go thru, naturally not everyone can make a meeting, but thats what meeting minutes are for... in my own interest, I have decided to watch how this all goes as an impartial arbiter. Which is why I'm asking now to please come to the BBQ if you actually give a damn about getting SAUSA on the ground. You might not be part of anyones fan club, and u might not agree with every other potential member, but at least give this a shot. I daresay that the Mallala BBQ only got crap numbers due to the remote location (Cmon its an hour for me and i'm 10 minutes north of adelaide, what about the dirty south?) and possibly a bad coinciding of events. In either case, to base interest upon appearance for one single event is really limiting your scope. Things don't get born big. They start small and grow according to interest and participation. "If you go looking for trouble, you’re sure to find it." If you want anyone to blame about the planning, you can blame me too. I was with kellie for the first few hours brainstorming. I put forward Rubys name as a potential treasurer and secretary because I know he's passionate about what he thinks. This is a strength. It might rub some of you the wrong way, and if you disagree, good! Tell us why! Lets not waste time here. While there is a skeletal steering comitee in place, votes will be taken and the right people will be found for the job. I hereby exclude myself from all positions - I would rather be an Arbitrator in this matter. We need to unite now, more than ever. With E85 going, the crackdown on undefined 'hooning' the proposition of car crushing, etc, we need to make a stand. however its funny that many of you talking about votes to me on msn have no intention of paying for the club? Maybe we should put a $20 entry fee to buy one single share of the SAUSA club, entitling the member to one single vote. it might come to that, but in these early days I'd prefer to see people come down and buy an overpriced sausage at a BBQ. "Never take a gamble you’re not prepared to lose." -D
  25. Bloody regency. Trust them to make Dogs bollocks defectable. Bastards. -D
