  1. Me and Nightcrawler can do this too -D
  2. Spewing... I hate it when that happens, means the entire business starts cutting back in all sorts of ways ;\ Wanted to note here that I just got my car back from Boostworx (Road and track are booked out working on muscle cars this week) who were very good to look at my car at extreme short notice - z32's are now fitted and a partial tune was made by Shaun to get the car nicely drivable on the street. Have some niggling little issues that need to get addressed before getting the upper end tuned, however I was very happy with the price and service from Boostworx, so two thumbs up from me. -D
  3. Yeah I'd put mine in if you think its up to scratch - seats are looking a bit crap, might need to borrow seat covers off someone -D
  4. OOO I like it -D
  5. I cant speak for anyone else, but I'm hoping to do an sa to nsw roadtrip and back via vic next year during winter most of that time is on mt hotham tho, so i dunno how many people would actually be keen - my plan would involve a drive back via the great ocean road -D
  6. Asus are definately a force to be reckoned with these days Abe - ive been out of the loop for a while - can you suggest any tablet/touchscreen pc's with a convenient touchscreen alphanumeric keyboard? What im envisioning is using nistune on a touchscreen tablet as it would be far more easier to use than a laptop when you're in a car doing a tune -D
  7. Surely he could tap into any oil line with a t piece and then run a gauge off that? Pascals law says "pressure exerted anywhere in a confined fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid." -D
  8. What has been seen Cannot be unseen -D
  9. heres one for pete to mosh to shake it yo -D
  10. should have split it up into 2 packages. dont need to pay import tax if the package is worth under $1k -D
  11. RIP Paul Gray -D
  12. which is why i havent watched tv per se for the last decade, f1 gp and footy matches notwithstanding and i laugh when the tv execs scratch their heads, wondering why people get on the net and download the shows they want to watch - and its not the fact that people are downloadeding the shows and bypassing the advertising feed that is subjected to all tv shows, no... theyre more concerned about the downloaders not being counted on the 'viewed' demographic... seriously i had a disagreement with kurt sutter a month ago about this - being that we're in australia and his show 'sons of anarchy' isnt broadcast here, delayed or otherwise - so i download torrents of the show (cause the man is very talented and has made an awesome show - he used to write for 'the shield' too) but my argument is, that the show is released in the states and they dont bother to get distribution in aus, whether it be free tv or cable (we have foxtel here so i KNOW its not broadcast) thing is, ive downloaded loads of torrents for sci fi shows when they came out, and ended up paying for the dvds a year or so later.. so its a confusing situation - tv is shit. why? cos people dont want to spend money on producing the shows - mainly cause their 'ratings system' doesnt do an effective job... and when they DO spend money, the broadcast nonsense really f**ks their budgets up its argued that once the shows hit dvd, then they make their production costs back via royalties, but sometimes I wonder about this logic what it boils down to tho, is we have shows like home and away and neighbours.... 25+ years each of them... vapid, vacuous, nonsensical pity pulp fiction at its worst, and then u get a show like "Space above and beyond" which was cancelled after a single season, and it was 80% aussie produced too... download Space above and beyond and pick out the aussie actors like colin friels and bill hunter... theres a tonne of local talent in that short lived show -D
  13. if i still worked at BHP I'd have been able to put u in contact with a HR manager... ;\ best bet is to get a copy of any certifications you have (such as forklift licences, heavy vehicle licences, tradie stuff) and forward it to the HR manager @ 55 Grenfell St, Adelaide, 5000 and make sure your cover letter is 100% awesome enough that they put u on file. They will eventually be turning OD into an open cut mine which will eventually be very labour intensive, I just don't know when its going to happen. Other thing is, there are a few other natural resource companies that are based in SA like petratherm, they are small outfits now but just about all of them are projecting exponential growth once their mines/taps become operational, so I'd also be doing some research about the different companies around here. Some are based around ores but there are also LNG and thermal/solar/wind to consider too Whats your trade? -D
  14. heh saw that, it was in the youtube thread a few weeks ago, along with the follow interview good on him -D

  16. I wish that shit was written in a place where it was easily accessible The difference between makes is pretty stupid - one rule should apply for all cars - and the govt should be erring on the side of leniency... not because i think it'd be easier, but our car manufacturers spend a load of money doing R&D, and that excuse is used on a contrary point of view for minor mods (like air intake, exhausts, tunes etc) - so why cant that same standardisation rule be applied for aftermarket addons that actually help? (legal and professionally installed of course) Seems our govt thinks that the car manufacturers know it all, and ergo all aftermarket mods are done by 'hoons' even if its something as innocuous as a pair of spotlights... this is the shit that pisses me off.... nanny state, hand holding, ignorant politician preaching crap, designed to either a) harvest more taxes or b) crack down upon personal freedoms to make the politicians job that much easier - its easier to answer the crowd when half of the crowd are muted... *yawn* as if politicians have a hard job... they dont even appear at parliament regularly -D
  17. ahaha yeah the real 'original gangstaz' in 50 cent basketball tops.... should make a whole reality tv show where TT producers roll around in a van across town and film the behaviour of the OG's like an attenborough documentary... if they can do it to primates... im just sayin -D
  18. Aussie r31 pintara. Came with 4 cyl engines only, so someones put that rb20 in there aftermarket... pretty nice combo if I do say so -D
  19. fk me... my arteries are hardening in jealousy... -D
  20. Yeah, that alone is worthy of Media Watch.... wonder what Littlemore would say about it -D
  21. yeah i know that foxtel has built in meters but I reckon it'd be harder with free to air (unless like you say they have a 3rd party addon box - which to be frank I've never seen/heard of but would certainly make sense).... -D
  22. No They base the answers upon a median sample set and extrapolate the "expected number" based upon the percentages given from a sample set. How else do you think they come up with numbers like "2 million" - do you believe they have little green men sitting in your TV that radios back what u watch? -D
  23. this one made me lol "The khent hid iz erse oot!" -D
  24. i dunno what coilpacks u need but i got around 6 here that are 2nd hand for the rb26 - i know a couple are buggered but u should be able to use one of them if theyre compatible with ur engine/ecu setup -D
  25. lol is that the r32 that flipped a couple times nose-tail and they bent just about everything on the car? wicked crash that 300-340kw would be what I'm aiming for with the turbo/manifold upgrade... -D
