  6. Hey Guys Sorry if this has already been covered but im not having any luck. i have a R33 GTS-T which already had the front guards rolled when i bought the car. Since, i have gotten new wheels which have started to peel the guards back a bit so i need to get the rolled again to stop scrapping around corners. I have been to a bunch of panel beaters around North Ryde and some places on Victoria road and they all tell me they dont have the equipment to do the job. Can someone recommend a good place in Sydney that can get this done and what the average cost is for the job? Also on my right rear guard i have a bit of paint thats cracked. What would you suggest to do to stop rust starting? get it repainted? thanks for any help.
  7. yeah to be honest i was a bit like WTF when they told me. I was expecting like 190rwkw max. Not to sure what the go is but im heading there tomorrow morning so ill sus it out. Could be a highflow turbo havent really checked.
  8. i got similar mods to my R33 GTST (exhaust,FMIC,pod, boost controller) and just got a emanage ultimate and spit fire coil packs put in yesterday. Getting it done at CRD in Sydney and they dyno'd the car and achieved 238rwkw at 15psi on high boost. Its running on about 9psi on low boost which i use for daily driving. they reckon its all in the tune. mate got the same thing done to his r33 bout 1.5 yrs ago and he is running 16psi no probs on stock turbo.
  9. cheers mate. Yeah its fiber glass. I dont mind paying someone to fix it as i really like this front bar and i dont want another one.
  10. Hey guys I damaged my front bar the other day trying to get out of a sh*t driveway. The part in the middle of the bar (see the pic circled in red) just under the intercooler has snapped on the right hand side and also where the bolts are screwed in on the side to the car itself broke off so the bar is hanging on one side. Just wondering if this can be fixed or would i have to get a new bar. i really like my bar so i would prefer to fix it. Anyone got any experience in similar matters and can suggest a shop in sydney to visit? Sorry that i dont have a pic of the damage itself but as you can imagine i dont like looking at it.
  11. yeah thanks dead32. Would be a good idea to buy the greaddy top feed fuel rail above with the injectors.
  12. Sorry the cheapest im willing to go is $1000 or $900 cash as these go for around $1300 new
  13. Hey mate, the greddy rail is to suit top feed sard injectors. i know it fits the 720cc injectors but im not sure if its 10.5mm or 11mm. ill have to check the packaging.

  15. thanks for all the help guys. I think ill save a few hundred more and go the GT-RS and leave the cams for now.
  16. yeah i have read a few topics about the minimum gains from cams but later in the future i plan on doing forged internals so i might wait till then and get it all done together. I have been going back and forth from the GT-RS and GCG highflow so many times it makes my head spin. Correct me if im wrong but you should be able to get the GT-RS kit for around $2500 so i was thinking get that then sell the standard turbo to recoupe some $$$ losses. Anyone 2 wanna take me for a ride with each turbo so i can feel the difference
  17. Hey guys i have an R33 gtst which is fairly stock - FMIC, 3in exhaust, pod. i am currently chasing around 250 - 270 rwkw, car will be mainly used for street but also a bit of circuit and 1/4 mile. i am in the process of buying all my mods and installing them all at once, saves me on ru-tunning costs. So far i have bought: 720cc sard injectors (top feed) sard fuel pressure reg greddy fuel rail bosch 044 fuel pump greddy plenum chamber haltech ECU blitz dual selnoid EBC type R cam gears + timing belt All i want now is a high flow turbo and cams. With the turbo i dont wont a huge lag machine but i want something that when boost kicks in ill get punched into the seat, plus it will help with getting of the line if the turbo isnt super responsive. Reading all the threads im inclined to get a HKS Gt-RS or a GCG high flow but dont want to spend 2k. is there any good garretts for around $1500 which will get me to my goal? With cams not to sure whats good but i really want cams that will give me that nice tough engine note, nengun have some HKS cams: 97/8 Duration - 256, lift 8.8m http://www.nengun.com/hks/camshafts-nissan 2202-RN172 /3 which are fairly cheap but any suggestions will be great. thanks
  18. i bought the bosch 044 and Sard 720cc injectors just last week and im aiming to get around 250rwkw out of my r33 gtst. i reckon its better to get a fuel pump or the whole fuel system for that matter thats a little over kill cos then ur never running it at max and with a good tune shouldnt be using more fuel.
  19. i think i might go for a haltec instead as i would need to buy a better AFM with the power FC so i would be looking at around $1950 all up. I can get a good deal on a new Haltec for $2000 running MAf (or MAF less the one that i dont need an air flow meter)
  20. bit risky running 13psi on stock turbo, no?
  21. Im getting Greddy Plenum + throttle body adaptor and EBC For you i recommend option 1 if your car needs it.
  22. Awesome thanks guys. Yeah my mate is coming along in my car as a spectator. blk180 hope you find the culprit and then
  23. i had an atmo bov mounted where the stock one goes but as soon as i had to pop the bonnent at an RBT thats the first thing the cops saw. DEFECT I was thinking of remounting it somewhere under the drivers side headlight out of sight. I think i might need to get a plenum chamber to do that though. Something to consider
  24. my mate dropped a ladder on my car (he's a plumber) and scratched up my bonnent so i wanted to get that fixed b4 the shown'n'shine but i cant fit it in b4 july 1. But screw it ill come. being new to the skyline community its an excuse to meet all you clowns!!!! (jokes, or maybe not) Entry form filled out and payment sent. One more thing, if i bring a mate in my car do i have to pay for him or can he get in for free???
