Thank you EUG, where do you buys these sandwich plates and where exactly do they fit? near the oil filter..?? Are they easy to install? My oil Tempre ture pressure sensor would screw stright into the bung outlet, i'll make sure of this when i go to change my oil n filter next week better to try when sump is empty!! lol imagine that...But yeah i agree sump would be probably a bad option as it would/could be damaged alot more easy may also cause leaks etc... Cheers mate thank you for that so i look under my passangers side pannel under the glove box and see a large white/clear pannel do i just undo this and have a look around. i have looked at the threads on here for installing turbo timers and you need access to the ECU correct? yeaha should be turbo'n it down the track i just work on her slowly as i at uni n broke!! They are really quite simple i am slowly realising apart from changing the oil filter which is a tight bastard in tricky location!! Regards hamish

Hey Guys just looking around my garage and i found a couple of procomp electronics gauges i found (oil temp + oil pressure) SO i thought since i on uni holidays now that i'd give a go at installing these i got them out of there packets etc and i am finding it hard to install them, i mean i can hook up the posive and negitive wires easily to make the gauge work with accesories on etc that bit is easy it when comming to install the sensors for oil temp and oil pressure... I have been on google etc and tryed looking for installation guides etc Can i use the oil temp sensor and screw it into the sump for the oil?? Please guys if you have links specifically relating to the RB25DE or DET please let me know etc i don't want these guages going to waste...regards hamish

Seriously then why does apexi make a full auto timer for turbo and NA?? COnfused i have it coming from japan, i am contemplating turbo'n the NA engine as people say they are pretty quick as they are high comp, i have read other threads, however i out of money atm..I was also told that the ecu was in the boot near the battery?? I had a look i think it may be but will look under the kick pannel, i ise to working on a commodore a lot more simple.. Regards Hamish

Hey thank you very much, i actually fixed mine before readng this by trial and error with a lot of stuffing around and without removing the silicone, mine is not soldered together rather they just touching therefore working i go over bumps etc n it fine now, but i may do this in future to fix it. I have a 33 gts and mine did not go over 2500rpm, and another question if i was to put a GTR AFM into my 33 would it upgrade its performance? Regard hame could some one PM me the answer..

Could possibly be a problem with your Air FLow Meter

I use to own a commodore and i could just take out the wires that feed in to the induction pipe (intake) that read the tempreeture of air etc you know the ones...anyway i just was cleaning around the engine bar and i undid the bolts and pulled out the wire that feed intio the top of the air flow metre however when i put them back and run my car it is limeting at 2500rpm?! i need help i think i have broken the connection from the terminals (four little l shape metel peices) to the terminals in the air flow metre! Please help me!

Hey Guys i am new to SAU so i not really sure how it all works i am an active member on boost cruising but i find there is a lot of crap on there, anyway i own a nissan skyline (DUH?) 1995 GTS and i want to either turbo the N/A engine or do a converstion to RB25DET any thoughts etc?
