  1. Just checked price of these, Gary's sell them for $645 each... which would be $2580 for the set plus freight! ....and no there are no wheels with these.... ta
  2. Guys and girls Id like to sell these tyres, they're brand spanking.. They're perfect size for GTR of any model, albeit with 18 inch wheels of course.. I'm not sure what they're worth these days but I'd like $1800 for the set.. Pickup from Canberra would be easiest, unless you'd like to organise freight?? If I'm dreamin please let me know.. Cheers Simmo
  3. Only bloke without a hangover? Mate you don't know me very well obviously. I'll be having a few don't worry about that!! The Evo is pretty in very similar spec, apart from.... Ralliart ECU, not sure if it had it then, makes minimal difference if you ask me. Suspension is alot better, mainly in the tuning. Exhaust manifold, same again not sure how much difference that makes. Its alot lighter, just by taking unwanted weight out. Basically the car is very similar, but alot easier to drive. Its no power house compared to your Skylines, I think I gave a 12.2 a nudge at WSID on the NSW rally, thats with no reaction time though. From memory last year I did 12.3's, so yeah its not alot quicker. Also guys on another note I'm chasing sponsorship for my circuit racing in the Aussie Racer and the Lotus, if anyones after or knows anyone whos looking for great exposure (TV, print etc) for their company etc let me know. Cheers Simmo www.simonarthur.com
  4. This thread is a continuation of the 'sau circuit times' I hijacked with dutton banter, it can be found here- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...mmo#post1422168 Andrew mate those lotus's are fantastic to drive, I'd love to do a rally in one. Should be good with more skylines popping up in these rally's. I'm looking forward to this one, I loved some of the stages last year, especially the one where the vectra smashed into the pole . That was almost a dirt rally stage! Mark and Russel I trust everything is almost ready, if not get cracking boys I'll have no excuses Oh and we'll see you in 4 weeks, and if anyone else wants to pop out and say g'day by all means come along, I'll be racing my Aussie racing car and a lotus elise at QLD raceway 22-24 July with the V8's. See you all there Simmo www.simonarthur.com

Guys thought I'd better drop past and say g'day Firstly well done to Russell and Mark, I've been forever telling people a well setup GTR is a competitive car for these Dutton Rally's. Taking nothing from your driving lads of course, outstanding! For the record I think we nudged the 1.06's at wakefield on the dutton, can't tell you how many laps Marty has done around there in the car, heaps! Eastern Creek I believe I gave a 1.45 a decent nudge, I'm quite familiar with the creek coming fresh off a weekend in the Aussie Racer. VICTORIA!!! I can't wait, competition should be plentiful! It will be good to catch you guys I met last year, a little better luck I hope also. Good luck with the car Russell and Mark, It would be good to catch up again. Cheers Simmo www.simonarthur.com
  7. We did really well mate, outright driver and co driver, and outright team. The times don't take your reaction time into account for some reason, so we're probably a little slower. So you coming to NSW? Should be a huge event this year.
  8. Wow what an awesome event, so far my favorite! Best we I could manage was 12.3 for the 1/4, Russ didn't see which way you went mate.... don't suppose your interested in some big brakes mate? AP 6's? I'd encourage anyone keen to test there car and skills out to head to NSW for the 2nd rally in June, heaps of fun and good times after the driving finishes each day. Cheers Simmo
  9. Due to unforseen circumstances I regret to inform the car is no longer for sale. Simmo
