  1. i thought that to, but its abit hard to swap bov's when there in WA
  2. hey ya'll. i got an apexi BOV on atm, its an awesome BOV as a BOV, but for wank factor its not what i want. dont get me wrong it sounds awesome, but i love the high chirping sound of a HKS SSQV or the TRUST S type ( ithink thats the high chirping trust one, correct me if im wrong). before anything happens, let me get this straight, mine works 100% im not trying to rip anyone off and i dont wana get gyped, so please only trade if yours also works 100%. like i said before, mine as a BOV works 100% doesnt leak or anything( even sounds good, but i want a change), and its an apexi one so its not a copy or anything and its not shit quality. thanks, issa. ps. let me know if theres any other good high pitch chirping ones that are good quality( NO COPY SHIT)
  3. ke70, with a 20v (sprinters are supposed to be the cheap alternative, yea right )
  4. spotted a white r32 gtr at the cross tonight (never go, just went for mates)
  5. yea detonation is very bad, well depends on how much, but remember revs kill motors not power, and so does detonation so i would get a tune asap and drive like a grandma untill you do. *edit* revs because higher revs usually means it detonates. a tune will fix this <abit more easy to understand.
  6. did i not say this will happen
  7. hahahah lmao hahahaha... thats so true, since i got my skyline i can relate to everything you just said. quick someone make a "you know you own a skyline when"' thread.
  8. lol wtf.. dont drink the bong water or your time machine didnt work... well owning a skyline is like having an infinite anti depressant or a big dick, everytime you feel down or depressed you look at it and you feel happy again. ive got both above, so im always smiling
  9. i have to agree, ive spent all my money (i barely earn any) on my 'line since i got it lol, barely have enough for petrol to drive it lol. but i smile whenever i drive it :laughing-smiley-014: save save save, as you wont once you get a car. ive never been on a cruise with SAU but i dont see anyharm in coming even if you dont drive a skyline.
  10. nah it doesnt include awheel alignment, but thats ok because my cousin owns a tyre shop so ill just get him to do it. plus i can tell him how i want it and he'll fix it. the ~250$ is simply labour, i have to supply everything. i told them that its just the lock bar i will supply and they were ok with that. the other thing is, is that im not sure what components are in the hicas system for an r32 gtst. can someone send me a list or write me a list of whats in the hicas system for a 1992 r32 gtst skyline? so i dont get ripped and they leave something behind. cheers, issa.
  11. i want to remove hicas so its more predictable, if i do what you say i should do, how much more predictable would it be lol hahahaha.
  12. oh ok ^^^ thanks alot for clearing that up. because while im calling around i hear a few different things. one guy said its going to over heat and needs a new pump.... etc... others have said that they will take it out and redirect it so it doesnt even go through the rear pump as they take it out . called blacktown suspension wholesales and got quoted 250$ cheapest so far and they being suspension people i think it might be wisest to take it to them, i think its to much for me to do. anyone wana give me courage
  13. thanks so much FATAZZ, i called a place up already and i got quoted 450$ just for labour, but if its only 70$ for hicas removed thats the way ill go. yea i know you still need a lock bar even if you want to completely remove it. i just dont want to just lock it, i want to make sure the workshop completely removes it, doesnt leave no solenoid or anything, and redirects the powersteering fluid properly so it dont overheat and so the steering doesnt get heavy. did you buy the removal kit aswell? or just the lock bar? cheers, issa.
  14. my r32 has hicas (they all do, shit boxes ) and i hate it and need it gone. im yet to order a lock bar. the thing is i dont just want to lock it, i want to completely remove it, i weighed my car and it weighed like 1356Kg(full st trim with alot about 1/2 tank petrol), it needs to loose some weight, plus i hate having useless shit in it. theres this article http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=185697 on how to remove it, and it looks abit technical, now dont get me wrong i love doing shit myself, but this might be something i just wont beable to do. so if anyone that knows what there doing and is willing to help me remove it, i would love it. or should i just take it to a workshop to do it??? so if you know what your doing, and you wana help a brother out, please let me know. or if someone can let me know of a good workshop that would do it for me for cheap, as im a poor kent. cheers, issa. ps, i plan on buying this lock bar http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Hi...&hl=lockbar
  15. what mods you got on it? btw how much was the dyno runs, i need mine on a dyno. cheers, issa.
  16. i told justcar my mods because apparently they said i had to is that true? but yea, they know i have a BOV and a air filter.
  17. i went just cars after NRMA tried to rip me a new one. im only 18, 1year driving experience (there books) and i got 3rd party property damage cover for 550$ and i was a further 250-300 for fire and theft. cover up to 10000$ i cant remember how much the excess was though lol. NRMA wanted 1100$ not fire and theft. what a rip.
  18. dead stock, bar airfilter and bald tyres. ran 14.524 @ 95miles with a shit 60 footer of 2.233, if i had one more run i would have got around 14.2-3. btw 1st time on the track.
  19. wired in, got all the wires that i needed for the turbo timer in place, now im getting all the features of the turbo timer working. must say its pretty impressive for what its got, i still need some getting used to it though. i wired it in straight into the ecu works well, but i still need the alarm to arm while the car is on instead of waiting for it.
  20. yea im thinking of taking it to an auto electrician for that bit. but i want to find the revs/rpm signal at least. can someone help me find it on the pinout posted above. i cant see it or is it under the name of something else??? :s cheers, issa.
  21. mybad, its a pinout not a diagram, i found one but i cant seem to be able to find the revs signal on it :s still need to know how to make the alarm arm while the car is on. cheers, issa.
  22. thanks alot for that mate, but i have that already. dont get me wrong i dont know what im looking at but i still cant find it in those pics i was hopeing for something abit more like this http://www.hksusa.com/content/pdf3375.pdf cheers, issa.
  23. does anyone have a r32 gtst ecu wiring diagram? btw *noob* but i like to do it myself, so wheres the ecu in the r32 so i can finish wiring this thing up already. cheers, issa.
  24. i just bought a hks type one, its in the car now, it stays on when i turn the car off, but all the extra features like the speed, shift light dont work. the big problem is that the alarm wont arm while the car is on. so i need to know how to get it to arm. btw, does anyone have the instructions for the hks type one? cheers, issa. also need to know where to plug the wires in for the speed reading and rev reading.
  25. who was at the creek 2night/yesterday? there was one sexy white r32 GTR with qld plates on it, sounded awesome and looked awesome, also when awesome. same as a grey one. also spotted a few 33's. i was in the 32 with the shocking times at the start lol.
