Engine Oil and Gearbox Oil

i agree with Sumo, whatever works and feels best. I've tried a few oils and found the Motul turbolight 4100 to be good, others like Mobil 1. And I've tried redline gearbox oil and am not happy with it. Trying Castrol syntrax next time. -
J - DO NOT use the ultra lightweight. when it gets hot it expands and bleeds out of the breather i rekon ive lost about 500mL and the bottom of my gearbox is covered in this yellow shitty oil. Im changing to Castrol Syntrax 70/85 synthetic next weekend - see how that goes.

i've got the same sound on a cold idle. thought it was the injectors but i stuck my head under the car and its alot louder under there. could it be a gearbox bearing or flywheel/clutch?

way over-rated. it was good at first, but after 10,000km the grind in 2nd and 3rd is back and its actually worse than before. im dumping it in exchange for some castrol syntrax. what a waste of money
