So, prices are meant to have gone down.......
2015 navara.
I'm over 30.
No recent accidents(over 8 years)
Last year, 845.
This year, 850.
Utter bullshit. -
Ok, found to attach images on the app, must use the 'plus box then select "attachment" rather than image.
Haven't had any other problems so far. -
50How much would you pay?I could organise a group buy [emoji4]

Could probably do it without that piece.
But, having so much oil, I do like the thought of the heat transfer helping get it to operating temp as soon as possible. -
Pretty much.Knowing if you have oil pressure or not is for pussies
Have heard all the tales about the factory sender. For the extra couple of hundred, worth it. -

Emailed and heard back from hi octane regarding the spacer between the mount and original pump housing.
Meant to be 7.65mm
Used washers to achieve 7.6mm.
So, this afternoon, bolted the rest of trhe pump bracket up.
Installed pump gear.
Had to file down the keyway as it was too large and the gear wouldn't go on.
Used some thread locker on the Grub screws as I don't want them to come loose.(love the holes for the allen key)
Installed the belt and tightened everything up.
Now, in hind sight, not the best thing to do, as I still have to install the a.c. and power steer belts. -
Vanuatu sounds like the place to be.I’ve dived Vanuatu, as per above was amazing! Crystal clear warm water, amazing fish life. On my last dive got to give through a sunken frigate (down through the deck, along internal hallways which was a bit scary but incredible). On the way back to the boat a massive Dugong swum up next to us, close enough that I was rubbing its belly, incredible!!!
Did Queensland next (just Surfers Paradise) which was crap. Out on the outer reefs would have been heaps better but a lot more expensive to get out there from Surfers.
Last dive which was at the start of this year was down at Marlo (south of Orbost) on Beware Reef which was pretty good. There was the remnants of an old ship and some pretty good fish life. Heaps of Port Jackson sharks.
Hoping to go to Thailand or Fiji next.
God it’s addictive once you’ve done a few dives!
Rubbing a dugong belly would be an awesome experience!!! -
ThanksAwesome idea for a thread mate.
I've dived Vanuatu & the Barrier Reef. Vanuatu was awesome, diving the reef was a bit depressing looking at how barren & dead it is.
I'm not certified yet, but it's on my bucket list!
I keep hearing about the reef dwindling, makes me a sad camper.
Hoping to get up there this summer, before it's all gone..... -
If love to do a wreck dive at 40m!birthday beers in Vanuatu.
dived in Fiji, Vanuatu, Philippines , and queensland so far.
Queensland sucked.
Fiji fish were spectaular, dived there 10+ times.
Vanuatu for Wrecks, heaps of WW2 stuff to dive on there
PH had interesting sea life to view and first time found a sea turtle which was cool.
Best by far for me was Fiji as on the last day of diving for the trip had the locals take me out not the hotel operators.
took me to a dive site with 3 spires out of the base with 1000's of fish in different varieties layered as you went down, a few small 4-5 Foot sharks.
and was only a 12-15 meter dive so plenty of dive time.
most surreal was wreck diving at 40 meters in Vanuatu, very dark, not huge dive time from the depth and whole different type of marine life compared to the higher reef dives.
Love doing it haven't had a chance to do it for a couple years only snorkeling trips, am looking at a couple trips next year that should get me some dives however.
Once I get more experience.
Fiji sounds good, will have it start making a list. -
So, recently done my open water course.
After posting on fb, found a couple of friends have also done it that I didn't know about.
So......
Who else out there has?
Post up your gear and/or favorite places to dive.
Maybe we can find some hidden gems.

Nawww, thanks brosef.Update but no photos (taking inspiration from luke gtr lol).
Removed R33 plenum, installed bottom half of R34 plenum.
Now awaiting 1550cc Bosch injectors and a Plazmaman rail. The initial plan was to use the 875cc Siemen DEKA V I had from my old motor but anticipating the power this motor will make there's no way those injectors would cut it, even if I ran 4 bar base pressure.
Been trying to order parts again from Andrew kudos.motorsports but he isn't replying to my emails [emoji20]

further onto the explanation of the cam gears....
I don't know if it the cause or effect.
Could be that the bolts were loose, causing the cam speed to dart back and forward, causing a bearing failure.
Could be that the cam seized slightly, turned the cam gear, loosened the bolts and kept going.
If there weren't any alloy in the oil, I would have said the gears were the only issue and put it all back together.
I really hope it's all it was and the alloy is just residue from the last machine.
But......
I want it checked now, while it's all apart. Better safe than sorry. -

White:
Gearbox is in.
Car feels like it has been fighting me to stay dead.
Well.......tuff!
The saga so far.....
Friday:
Went to drop engine in, no engine crane at work. Think its locked in a cupboard.
All bolts recieved with the car were lumped in together.
No ac bracket.
Found charcoal canister missing.
Sensor in heater hose missing.
Cant find tail shaft bolts.
Cant find front tail shaft bolts.
Cant find all gearbox bolts.
Bolts I ordered for front brake calipers were incorrect.
The one positive thing on the night was this. I only got 1 engine mount with the engine. Thought I would need to borrow one from my other car. But, there was one in this car, still bolted to the subframe.
Went to my bosses house and collected key to the cupboard.
Saturday:
Open cupboard to find.........engine crane not there(not the one we normally use). There was a different crane we dont use. Ended up having to up end it just to get it through the door. With load on it, the hydraulics leaked.
Engine dropped in!(yay!)
Mounts done up.
Clutch fitted and aligned.
Found rear tailshaft bolts and nuts.
Both front driveshaft fitted and bolted.
Monday(today):
Gearbox in(struggled. First time working with a pull clutch).
Attessa line connected.
Rear tailshaft bolted up.
Only have 2 of the top bell housing bolts. Found bolts to fit all the lower holes.
Clutch slave fitted.
Throttle cable fitted.
Theres still a LOT of work to be done. But, it feels more complete.
Another positive was finding the exhaust I have had the same diameter as my dumps. I thought it was smaller and was looking to get it modified to suit. That's one less hassle.
