When I had my old R33 I spent more time driving hire cars that that old boat.

Track it, break it, fix it, rinse and repeat.

Old Uncle Duncan did warn me about tracking my daily, I was just to stupid to listen.

I do still have all the oil stains to remind me of those days gone by though, and the masive hole in the bank account that the Mrs reminds me of every time I modify my other cars or bikes.

    Fun times though

    depends on the car.

i tracked my stock evo x(timed sprints, not proper circuit racing), and it wasnt too bad.

i remeber your car..........anything that moddified, normally gets a few issues.

    now, to th OP...

if you dont specifically want to drift, and want a fun, practical daily, the mazda 3 mps are a decent hot hatch for a fairly decent price.

as mentioned, the 86/BRZ for rwd shinanigans.

if budget is no issue, go for a 35 gtr or LFA.

WRX and evos are good for a bit of track work and daily duties.

either way, when you do grab something, post pics and hit events!

SAU is one of the very few places ive seen who dont care what car you drive, so long as youre into cars.....

We were doing stagea meets about once a month all the way up till a few years ago when we started joining in on the 'boosters' meets which had a pretty good group of teenagers and adults. We did try and get a skylines group together a few times, but seems the demographic had changed for the worse so i stopped inviting and associating with them.

Boosters meets are still going and still have the same mindset and enthusiasts.

    I'm the skyline demographic.

    Whatya tryna say Kent?

I drive the joy of knowing that the MQG business division owns me for 6 life times as they fuel my unhealthy obsession for buying out competitors and industry domination.

I still have the Lotus/Brabham and supercharged MG with various other pre 1950's garden gnomes (cars) in states of incompleteness and disrepair. But they're only old people fun cars.

COVID-19 hurt and even tanked my smaller competitors, so I want to do one more business buy out and leverage the advantage now before buying a modern super happy fun toy to par take in the current resurgence of highways and hills. It's been a while between boost skids though ?

    Good luck!

Sounds like you're on top of things.

What do you have your eye on for the next purchase?

    (Car wise)

I'm too old to know what this @ # social network stuff is

Using the "@" symbol and typing a user name, then selecting that user name, will send them a notification saying someone has mentioned them.

They can then click that notification, and it should bring them straight to the post.

  5. That depends.

Do you like all of your free time being sucked away?

In all honesty, I enjoy it thoroughly.

Can play as a casual, but you miss out on some limited time items.

Can get heavily into it, but you miss out on life.

    I'm kind of in between.

Has both pve(player vs environment) and pvp(player vs player).

But pvp on console is hit and miss with some cheaters.
