  1. Old one but this what you need?
  2. Now that's just what i like to hear. Will try them too.
  3. Hey guys, Currently paying $920 p.a.or $77 p.m to have the wagon comprehensively insured. That's with a $750 excess and insured to $12000. 60% n.c.b, clean driving record, Mrs uses the car 90% of the time, she's 33 and I'm 36. Is there a better deal around at the moment? This is with Famous Motor Insurance, looks like they've put up their excess too.Car is parked off street (5070) in a car port with garage door (i.e. 2 walls around the car, not 4).
  4. Yeah, Photoshops version of tilt shift... much cheaper!
  5. Yeah one of the pics was from that one.
  6. Hey guys, mucking around with photoshop tonight, had a play with some photos from old cruises, thought i'd share. Them's a lot of Stag's!
  7. How true, luckily for me it's the missus that uses the car for 80% of the time!
  8. Looking forward to seeing how this tank goes after the Nistune. More wishful then hopeful you could say
  9. Yeah just Nistune. If this also translate to better economy it's be great!
  10. Wouldn't have a clue! I got Shaun to tune for economy for what it's worth. Apart for a smooth curve I'm not sure what's what on the print out.
  11. 3" turbo back, k&n panel filter, 10psi = 135kW Nistune, 11psi = 175kW Pretty happy with that. Much smoother power delivery too.
  12. Got nistune done to the car today. Pretty happy with power gain, was 135kW before the nistune. Very smooth delivery!
  13. It just occured to me... would putting 100ron fuel cause R&R? But never happened with colder weather before. This sounds possible, will have another look at the lines.
  14. Yeah that's what it feels like, but why all of a sudden now? Maybe the boost gauge is buggered? Or maybe there is a boost leak somewhere? Whatever the case, i'll be booking in for the Nistune done this week I think.
  15. Reviving an old thread. My S2 has started doing this recently, i noticed my boost had dropped from everyday 10psi to 6psi according to my boost gauge, so i turned up the Turbotech boost controller but when i floored it, engine seemed to cut out at full boost, which still was under 10psi according to the gauge mind you. Never had this problem before even up to 12psi. Is the MBC shagged? or is the boost gauge wrong? What should I do? Looking at getting Nistune done with the next big service, would that fix it?

    Loose Nut

Nice looking engine bay there Rubes The nut looks the same but mine doesn't have a washer. But strange that it has never been a problem 3-4yrs since i've owned the car, up until the last few months. Car is due for a 140k service soon i just realise too so might leave it till then...

Yeah, pretty keen to do as what Chris said, fix it once, fix it well and not have to worry about it again, not for awhile anyway!

Yeah but there must be a reason it keeps loosening up though right? And the oily residue is a bit of a worry too...?

    Loose Nut

Hi guys, hope you are all well. In the past few months I've had to tighten this nut every so often (every 4-6 weeks) as it starts rattling and annoying me. I've always tightened it quite tight but eventually it just loosens up. Any idea what it is, why it's doing it and what i can possibly do? Cheers!
  22. I've got ones i believe was from an earlier model Rav 4. Safest would be to drive into a roof rack specialist and see what they can fit. I've heard the Thule ones work as well. Search helps too.
  23. Thanks, will look through it. The Ryco Z201 still valid?
