So the Stag is due for a oil/oil filter change and I thought I'd go to the local Nissan dealership and get the genuine oil and filter to try out. Oil is 7.5W/30 ($42ish for 5L) and the filter is part number 15208-53J0A ($18ish). Filter is much smaller then the usual Ryco Z145A that i use. My questions is, will this smaller filter fit alright? The sales guy there at the Nissan service centre said it's the updated oil filter which is indeed smaller, and will fit 10/98 C34's onwards. I just don't want to drain the oil and then find out the oil filter doesn't fit!

Has anyone had this done at Boostworx, SA? Any idea how much?

I reckon that's an alarm feature. Mine never did that, but with the aftermarket alarm, the immobiliser comes on if the key hasn't been put into the ignition after approx 30secs when you remote unlock/disarm it.

I've got the Blits Dolphin copy front bar, very well build and the painters didn't have too much of a problem fitting it. Damn it's low though.

Old thread i know... but i've been using Motul 8100 x-cess 5/40, was thinking of getting the Mobil 1 5/30 for next oil change. About the same price. Would that be alright? Anyone using it? Or is 30 too thin for a 110,000km engine?

you need an app to work that out? here's what you do, every time you fill up make sure you reset your odometer to zero. Next time you fill up, say 50L, just add 2x 00's to the end of it, so 5000. Divide that by whatever your odometer says and that's your L/100k's.

Wanted To Buy One full sized spare tyre and rim for the Stagea. Must be the same rolling dimension/circumference as current setup which is 235/45/17. I believe stud pattern is standard 5x114.3. Thanks.

$150 is a lot. Considering he quoted me $350 to fix and pain the Dayz front bar. They should have the KR4 silver pre-mixed by now too!

No pool, not even a bathtub big enough to fit the tyre. No rim damage, valve is sealing to my knowledge, i did the spit on finger - wipe test. No bubbles. Side walls look ok.

No idea, i suppose i'll have to pop into a tyre place this weekend.

As the title states. Tyres are fairly new (less then 6 months - minimal kays) It's definitely only one (left rear) and I've been checking regularly with a digital tyre pressure checker thingamajig. Slow leak <--- fixable? r am i up for a new tyre? Cheers.

Hey Chris, good to hear you got it on. When i fitted mine myself, if you remember i wasn't too sure if it was on/sealed 100%. So when i got my 100k service, i got the guys at Boostworx to have a look at it. They told me a couple of bolts had dropped off (probably because i didn't/couldn't get them tight enough to start with) and they redid the entire thing properly. Maybe it's a bolt rattling around somewhere?

Not on my car but this is what it looks like Thanks for the offer but considering the original Dolphin Aero Grill is more then twice the price unpainted, and the Masa one from Viva Garage is $150 unpainted (but no stock, good luck), $150 is firm. What I will do this weekend is find some mesh and put it on, but that'll bump up the price a little.

No they didn't, but pretty easy to get some from bunnings or someplace like that. The mesh i got was only for the front bar.
