Best Way To Pipe Front Mount Intercooler?
jUsT-dRiFt-iT replied to jUsT-dRiFt-iT's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Theres sum pics but they are not the best. I was thinking of putting the pipe over the top and down by where the window washer bottle is but i cant c a hole where i would put the pipe through..would i have to cut one?? -
Ive just bought a R33 GTS25t and its got a front mount intercooler on it but its been put on real dodgy lol..they have used the standard holes where the standard side mount pipes go through and then ran one of the pipes under the engine and then around to the other side of the intercooler and they have used a piece of like plastic box pipe..the pipe is really low to the ground and scrapes all the time if im not careful. I want to re-pipe the whole thing and was wondering which was the best way to pipe it. I was thinking of the front facing inlet plenum option by getting my factory one modified but i heard that it starves the 6th cyliner..i dont want to go the extent of buying one of those g-reddy ones for $1300. Any ideas or links very much appreciated. Where the two pipes go through. Where the two pipes come out. The stupid plastic pipe that goes under the car. The other end of the plastic pipe where the pipe loops around and joins up to the intercooler.

Yeah when i saw them that they were 700w (350w RMS) i was like wtf thats bulsht but they go Fckn hard! With them in the box in the boot they make it sound like ive got a sub in the boot, one of the reasons they wouldnt fit in the parcel tray was because the magnets were to big to easily fit in the holes where the standard speakers were. I cant be bothered with the whole sub and amp thing either.. -

Door Speakers Getting Wet..
jUsT-dRiFt-iT replied to jUsT-dRiFt-iT's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
Nah when i bought the car it didnt have any door pods in it because there was no speakers in it at all..i mite just get some sound deadening and use some of that as a 'roof' as mentioned in the thread about how to install door speakers into an r33..because i just mounted mine straight onto the door skins lol and its pretty rugged haha.. -

How do u put the sound deadening on the outer skin?? -
I just purchased sum 700w 6x9's and tried to fit them in my parcel tray and they do not fit on one side because the battery is in the way and do not fit in the other side because a grey box is in the way. I had a speaker box lying around so i just put them in the boot in that for now but does anybody have any suggestions of any where else i could mount them inside the car?? I thought about mounting them in the rear skins below the quarter window (its a coupe) but i couldnt cut a big enough hole in the steel behind that without having to cut into a big piece of box section which was obviously structual. Any suggestions would be much appreciated..Cheers!

I have put some 6.5' speakers in my r33's door skins and while i was doing it i noticed that my door leeks through the window..but there is drain holes at the bottom of the door to let the water run out, so im assuming that the doors were designed to hav a bit of leakage..does it matter if my speakers get wet?? Is there a way i can protect the speakers to stop them getting wet??

Will A 61.8mm Depth Fit In A Gtr33?
jUsT-dRiFt-iT replied to Sayajin's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
On my r33 i just took off the factory grills and mounted the speakers in the holes from those grills so the speakers were mounted on the auctual door skin and they seem to fit alright.
