  1. Hi everyone, In 2 weeks I'll be putting my car in for a respray. The only issue is I can't decide what color to go with - Lexus ISF blue or Audi white (like the one found on the A5 or the RS6). Just wanted to get your opinions - oh and the car that is going to be resprayed is: I'll be changing the front bumper back to the series 2 front bumper with a Viva garage BL type lip. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
  2. Hi guys, relativiely new here and would be good to meet some of the regulars. If anything meets are coming up, I'll pencil myself in.
  3. Would anyone know if these will fit the door speaker cavity on a series 2 r33 skyline coupe?
  4. Clean 34 Mitch - love the wheels.
  5. Forgot to mention that the spoiler is plastic, adjustable and that the brake light it comes with appears to be LED. Will require some sanding prior to painting. Pictures as promised:
  6. Here's a recent photo of my 33 that I took at the National Park: Coincindentally, I realised later that it was the exact same location where I took a photo of my previous car:
  7. Hi guys. I have an unused gtr style wing which came along with the car when I bought it. Also comes with the brake light. Unusued and unpainted - can be yours for only $250 ono. Pick up from Sydney. I will post pics as soon as I can. Please contact me via PM.
  8. Hi albert, i'm a friend of john ha (teal mx5) just wanted to know how many kms your s14 has? Thanks dude.
  9. Awesome day with skylines being well represented.
  10. Hi guys. I know a reputable place where you can get your bumpers resprayed. Pm me if you want the info.
  11. I didn't know you know John Ha and his green jellybean! He just mentioned yesterday that he was in the car with you. Yeah I used to own a white mx5 which I sold before getting the skyline. Miss the little thing sometimes but the 33 is heaps more comfortable! Didn't you have a stagea at one stage Adam? And I definitely loved ur roadster as well dude. Seems like all the cars you've had have been modified very well. Big thumbs up to you!
  12. Hey Grant. No not a genuine GTR bar - fibreglass copy but I think looking at the width.it was made to the same dimensions as the GTR bar. Once the bar is completely destroyed, I'm looking at getting the Series 2 stock bar and a viva garage lip. I posted in your build thread on JDMST about it - loving your 33 by the way.
  13. Hi Buddy, saw you at the lights trying to get in to the entrance of the carpark that the eomm was being held at. Very nice 33! Here's mine (still a work in progress):
  14. Hahaha...good eye mate! Yeah it is slightly bent and malformed at the bottom of the bumper. The car came with this front bumper when I originally bought it from Kujotk who is (i think) still an active member on SAU. And unfortunately, it isn't a genuine GTR item as Nav suggested - it is a fibreglass bar that was designed as a replacement front bar for a GTR. When it was fitted on the car, it was a little too wide and so after a few driveway scrapes it started to produce the bend that you can see. On the wings is a replacement bar and possibly a respray so at this stage I will just run it until it's time to get the respray done. And tyre size question answered on my previous post.
  15. Easy answer to that one - I had the rears flared and pumped out another 40 mm. I'm also running camber (-2.2 degrees) which I will be getting readjusted as that's a bit aggressive. I was just playing around with the camber settings and started off with 2.2 - I'll most likely be running -1.8 degrees which will sit just a little out from flush. Oh and sorry, I am running after market camber arms (I think the brand is "hardrace") which I bought from Just Jap in Kirrawee. The reviews for that brand were good so I decided to go with them. Tyres I'm running are 235/40/18s for the rear and 225/40/18s for the fronts.
  16. 18 x 9 +15 (fronts) and 18 x 10 +15 (rears) - pictures as promised
  17. All good. Found out that the handbrake bolt broke o ff. Replaced and everything is hunky dory!
  18. Hi guys, Seems like I've encountered an issued with my r33s handbrake yesterday. I parked the car for about an hour, came back, and when i tried to release the handbrake to drive off, it felt spongy at the bottom point of the release (if this makes sense). When I tried to engage the park brake, it didn't quite feel right either - it felt "loose" for lack of a better word. It seemed to just happen all of a sudden without warning yesterday, and I didn't seem to have any issues with it until yesterday afternoon. Does anyone have any ideas? Tried to do a site search but didn't come up with any useful info. Thanks everyone.
  19. Pms replied. Sorry guys I've been busy at work and haven't had a chance to take any photos. Will take photos of the actual wheels and post them on the thread asap.
  20. I haven't actually fitted the wheels onto the car, but you will definitely have to have the front guards rolled and the rears rolled and slightly pulled/flared. Nothing too dramatic though. I would purchase some rear camber arms to minimise camber wear on the tyres and would most likely run 235/40 profile tyres at the rear and possibly a 225/40 at the front. I've been quoted under $300 for the guard work to be done by a professional. Hope that answers your question.
