the dentis drill noise start you car up and stick you head in the engine bay next to the eshaust manifolds and get someone to rev the car slightly and see if you can hear air escaping. sounds like your exhaust manifold stus are broken and theres a gab in your manifold. i had this also when i had my 33. on full boost get a screashing noise like the dentis drill. found out 3 broken manifold stud. also your car is not stock. stock is stock as in no mods. you put an exhaust in your car that moves you away from the stock ppl

hey guys atm im in the process of upgrading my injectors for the 34 as i seem to be almost maxing out my stock ones and i was just wondering if anyone has looked into seeing if bigger injectors from other cars will fit the skylines??? maybe a silly question but wanted to know before i forked out the big bux for bigger injectors. ta Ash

just to add with the pod filter sitting infront of the bar it can be done and you will not have to change you filter almost every week if you get the right pod it will be a bit of a pain making a pipe to keep the afm safe in the engine bay (you really dont wanna get this wet) then run the pipe to the front of the bar and use a pod filter thats been coated with oil (k&n filters are coated in a thin oil film) which will help water bead of it if it gets wet. just dont drive through a puddle have done it to a GTR32 before and it was a massive pain in the ass for the GTR but shouldnt be much of a pain for a GTST but just a warning the induction is seriously loud as its exposed and the sound wont be quitened by the closed bonnet

ye injectors will definitely be changed but thats when funds are available for them but for now i just want to know to run it as safe as possiable do i just turn the boost down so its not running as high needing a shit load of fuel up top or do i need to get it tuned for low boost?

hey guys just wanted some adv on what to do. atm my 34 is tuned at 18psi with highflow turbo, FPR, FMIC high flow fuel pump and high flow fuel rails running 242 rwkw. was playing around the the PFC hand controller and noticed my fuel injector duty at full throttle hits 90%. atm im running stock injectors and have been told its not good for the injectors to be running at that rate. is that true? so i have decided to get new injectos but while i wait to get em thought id turn the power down a bit. so my next question is i have a manual boost controller which is set to 18psi if i turn that down and run the car at 14psi can it be done? or will i need to get it de-tuned with the PFC??? my thinking is running 14psi will obviously change the afr which will then atleast keep my injector duty down. so ye can i just do that? ta Ash

damn knew i missed something. at this stage we dont need a certin number but what we will do is for the first batch to be made we will need payment of $50 by friday 21/11/08 end time is 5pm. those who have made payment by then will go into the first batch. production will start monday. if things got to plan the box will be posted out the following monday being the 01/12/08 once production start i will send pms to those in the batch and adv of postage cost for those needing to post. once postage is paid box will be sent and for those locally picking it up arrange a time and pick up. ta Ash

ok confirmed with manufacturer and what we can do is provide two kinds of pod box. one is a ready to go bolt in for cars with aftermarket cooler and one for cars with stock coolers so both cooler pipes are on the same side. now for those with the return cooler pipes on the same saide what we can do is offer a blank box so no holes on the side you can make you own holes according to your cooler size and the angle your pipes run. and for those with hybrid cooler systems this box will be a bolt on. price will still be at $50 per box with or without holes. postage should be no more then $20 at the most as these are very light and pretty flexiable so can fit it in a small padded box. now payment for these will be needed upfront as i dont have the funds to get a hole heap made. all those that have posted interest you will be getting a PM just to confirm the type you need and payment details. once payment for the first batch have been received production will start which shouldnt take more then a week to make. ta Ash

umm instead of buying new coil packs why not just repair them? and when you have cash get splitfires then. when i had my 33 repaired it then and never had a problem afterwards. mates GTR33 is putting out 270 atw and was getting misfires like you on full woot did a repair and all is well my current car R34 GTT 240 rwkw also had misfire and 3 hours to repair and its as good as new. all you need to do is take it out clean it all up then put a nice thick coat of clear nail polish. i did 3 thick coats on mine and took about 3 hours from taking it all out to going for a test drive. all it is one or more of the coil packs have a fine fine hair line crack on them so on fool woot the sparks archs out of it causing it to misfire. its very easy to fix and is a cheap alternative while saving up for splitfires. ta Ash

Hey guys found these located just under the headlight adjustment switch. Dosnt look like after market job and both of mine are always on and light up amber/orageish color What is this for? Is it to indicate I need to change my fluids? And how do you reset them? once you have done the change? ta Ash

im writing down all the names of those interested as i cant edit my first post and you will all get PM's regarding this. im still waiting for the manufacturer to confirm if he needs payment upfront to get these made or not so will have a definite answer hopefully within the next couple of days. satanic ill see if we can get a blank side done as well. as for fitment with standard cooler you may need to trim a little on the side to allow the return pipe to fit in but its best if we try it out on a stock car. can someone with a stock GTT and GTST in Melbourne SE suburbs pm me so we can try it on to see if it fits? sorry guys jumped the gun and forgot about those with stock piping.

sorry about the delay guys but here are the pics these are for R33 and here are the R34 pics. now the side panel are the same the only thing of concern was the top cover but as you can see it all fits very well and this is the pic of the side panel. first hole if for air intake pipe and second hole if for cooler pipe feeding into the cooler

MatRox2 its best if you go through this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gr...34-t243043.html as all CAI box quires will be going through that thread as we will be doing a group buy. but to answer you question this will fit a series 2 R33 with a Pod filter but it will also depend on how big the pod is as some pods are stupidly big these days. im helping shane produce these again so feel free to pm or post any more questions you have. ta Ash
