well thats no good then so whats the verdict on who to take my car and emanage too?
-
thats exactly what mine did, started to crank but wouldnt turn over. if you find out whats wrong be sure to let me know cos i cant figure it out

poles are in for the story bridge camera. saw them today driving to the valley, on the east side towards the end of where the traffic island is and the bridge starts.
-
yeah because it only alters the signals from the stock ecu it is fine to drive. because if you dont change anything in the maps its just the same as having the stock ecu. mine just wouldnt turn over and i flatened my battery trying to get it to work, so i havent been assed to try again

definatly could be interested. i just want to get rid of the f**king annoying whirring noise that im pretty sure the clutch fan is making. i thought it might of been beneficial to go a thermo fan because it lessens the drag on the engine (yeah i know it probably makes bugger all difference.) been reading mixed reports about going to thermos though.
-
interested to know this also. i did the mod on mine, cut the wires etc. plugged it all in hooked up the laptop updated software, set all the engine parameters but could not get the car to start. if you get yours working please take some pics so i can see how you have modded it to make sure i have done mine correctly. i was just gonna get my tuner to install it, but if i can get it sorted before then that would be awesome. good luck

thanks for the replies guys. repco wanted to charge me $240 for a 16" straight blade. supercheap had calibre 16" straight blade for $100 im on the southside so where is a good place to get these oex or ice thermos from? im looking to switch it electronically. basically my clutch fan is stuffed and im looking at $140 upwards to replace it so was hoping to fit a 16" thermo in the stock shroud for around that price. less if i can. ive searched and apparently the s shape blades are better which is why i stayed away from the straight ones i dont want to have issues with heat. thanks alot

ahh thats right, i got matt and mark confused thanks man, ill be giving matt a call once i get my pump and regulator in and my pressure sensor arrives
-
hey guys. quick question... anyone know of anywhere decent other than supercheap, repco etc around here to purchase a few thermo fans and thermostat switch? cheers
-
matt spry is at godzilla yeah? looking to get my emu tuned in the next few weeks so checking out options?
-
remember that the emu is a piggyback so he'll need a working stock ecu to run with it, if he goes that route

is it kinda like a whirring sound? my cars been making a whirring sound on and off for a while now. i think it does it after it heats up a little. cant put my finger on what it is though cause it never does it when the cars not moving. the whirring changes pitch i guess you'd call it when the auto changes gears aswell anyone know whats going on? its hell annoying makes the car sound like ass

i fitted my jj front dump about a month ago and noticed this line was touching, its just an aircon line and can be easily bent out of the way. it gave me a couple of cms clearance. all has been good since installing. just bend it out of the way... gently of course

stenve replied to benny bobo's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
hey mate look pretty good. i may be interested depending on price. how do they attach? just clip up? will they be available in different colours? -
i have the same sorta noise on my auto r33. sometimes it doesnt do it, others it makes a whirring kinda sound that you can only hear from the drivers side. does it mostly when overdrive is off. is it normal or is something wrong?

hey guys, just a quick question, ive got a 93 r33 gtst that ive had for about a month. apparently the guy who owned it before me replaced the brake pads with bendix ones pretty recently. however when i go to come to a stop and press down on the pedal the brakes kinda feel like they grip for a second then slip out and roll then grip, then roll and so on. this results in the car "stuttering" to a stop and its quite annoying especially if im braking on a downhill. now my question is... what is casuing this? uneven wear on the pads? is there any way to fix this? will i need new pads? could it be from a bad wheel alignment? thanks for any help
-
do you guys just use the superlows with standard shocks? how is handling? want coilovers eventually but this will do until i can afford them.
-
i have a switch on mine like security does. its been on and off for a month or so and i havent had any problems with it. i did get sick of it changing back to neutral when i have overdrive off and i stop accelerating, so i usually have the switch set to off so i get normal pressure and normal changes. its probably ok for a quick fix until you get a mv valve upgrade. but id at least put a switch on it

are we talking emanage blue or emanage ultimate with the blue you can run the greddy e-01 boost controller, not sure about air flow though with the ultimate i think greddy are working on an EBC to work with it as the e-01 doesnt. and you can run the ultimate with the greddy pressure sensor to get rid of your afm. im not running one yet but will be in the next few weeks once my emu arrives and thats what ive found out about it from reading around here
