  2. pm the the guys at slide they can get harnesses for the r33, however you do need to re-wire 2 wires for it to function properly. ive got mine through them. if you hold out a little longer i think uras is developing a true plug n play for the r33

  6. i had a look at this while doing my lights and came to the conclusion that you'd need to replace the screen. didnt think of uses a blue film though... that could work. if you make any progress be sure to let us know, as im pretty interested in this also
  7. what brand etc is your gauge on the right top of the steering wheel? im looking for something exactly the same as that. and where did you get it from? ta
  8. thanks man. i didnt actually change the indicator globes though. the only thing i touched relating to indicators was the hazard switch on the dash. and the only thing i changed in that was the light that lights it up :S edit: i also tried without the new leds in the switches still no luck. is there a trick to getting the top relay out? it seems stuck
  9. wel dont worry about that bit. im taking it that the relays are the blue boxes next to the fuse box? ive found air con, and wiper, i have one that im not sure what it does, and the one on the top i cant get out, the plug seems different. anyone know which one is the indicator relay?
  10. alright, i recceived some LEDs rfom 666dan yesterday and started putting them in. all went well until i got to the demister and hazard ones. ive got them in and they light up blue like they should however i now have no indicators or hazards. as in when i try to indicate there is no clicking, no lights outside the car and none on the dash. i have checked all fuses and they are good. i have reassembled the hazard switch a few times and still no good. i have tried to look for the relays but im not really sure what im looking for here or how to test or fix it if i do find it. the only thing i havent done is take off the wheel surround and check the indicator stalk... could the problem lie there? i have an r33 gtst 93 model. thanks for any help anyone might have for me
  11. yeah a pfc would be great, its just finding one thats the problem. and if you do find one they are $1500ish for that much i can get an emanage ultimate, put it in and have it tuned prob with money left over
  12. thanks for the replies guys, didnt bother with it in the end. went for $501 decided id go for the greddy e-manage ultimate with having an auto. should do the trick. should have it in and tuned in the next few weeks. will let you all know how i go as i know the whole auto/aftermarket ecu sector is a bit confusing at the moment. i might be able to shed some light on things. any info you guys have regarding this option would also be greatful. i have been searching the forums finding some useful info but it's all still pretty confusing as to what is good and whats not and what works properly. thanks again
  13. hey guys i spotted this ksport tuned rom on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...ADME:L:RTQ:AU:1 im not sure if it will work with my auto r33 gtst series 1 or not. so i though i'd ask here before i dove into possibly buying it. anyone have any experience with these? cheers
  14. so i gave this a shot in my r33 gtst tonight. thought why not if it doesnt work ill just wire it back up. shifts are definatly firmer and quicker, when you give it some it feels alot smoother cause its not messing about thinking about changing gears. with overdrive off (yellow light on in the dash) when you release the throttle it does knock it back into neutral. ive also found that when this happens and you are going around 70-80kph (downhill) the car tends to jerk on and off, like its trying to stop or change gears or something?? does this happen to you security? anyone else have any ideas?
