So would it be ok if i used the ground and positive from my cd player/deck? Or would you suggest to just create a new power supply from the battery for other hardware to use also? Sorry if im coming out a little stupid. Dont know much atm!!!

Hi pplz, i have ripped out what i think is the speedo alert for a R32, can anyone please look at the pics and verify that it is, would be great if i could get the response tonight as i need to replace my cluster before 2moro morning. Thanks Paul

When changing the globes you have to make sure you dont touch the metal strips on the cluster otherwise you will create a circut and burn it out. Also the twist style globes have a positive and negative so have you tried turning them around? If not you can try to reset it buy disconnecting the battery (not sure if this will do anything). If none of that works find the fuse!!!

Hi peoples, just wondering if any1 out there can help me understand these problems i have. 1.) I have a greddy turbo timer and everytime when its cold usually its makes weird ticking sounds but really fast. Thats the 1st problem. 2.) Everytime i put my foot on the accelrator my turbo timer kinda resets it self, it turns off then back on again, this sometimes also happens when i am down shifting. I got it tested with a multimeter and it picked up that everytime the accelrator is pressed, my voltage drops from 12v to 9v i think if i remember right, but anyway, it should drop at all should it? Anyone have a solution? I was thinking maybe i need a battery that puts ut more? or will that not make a difference? Help Please!! Thanks Problem Child

Are you looking to get a skyline that is already in perth? or looking to import your own from japan? i highly recommend importing your own as i have done myself, but if you cant wait 4 months or so then you dont really have a choice but to pay big from a dealer or import yard, or you can pay little from a private sale! And why 4 door?

Hi, i have bought a set of 2nd hand gtr injectors and was just wanting to know a workshop that would test and clean the injectors, and or know the cost of this if you know. I am NOR so that would be nice if you knew one arnd here but if not SOR is ok! Paul

All i can say is SH*T... went to remove the speedo alert at the back of the cluster and must have snapped the plastic needle that went in2 the back of the speedo wen refitting. Notice speedo wasnt working then power steering so sounds like the same sh*t. guess i need to buy a new cable just cause of that... GREAT

Hi people, well yesturday i removed my cluster to get rid of the speed alert box thingy and changed some lights while i was at it then put it all back together. then a few hours later i went to take it for a drive and all seemed fine for the first 5-10min,, then all of a sudden i realised my speedo wasnt working but i was sure it was when i first took off. Then when i hit a turning point i realise my power steering wasnt working. I also have a greddy turbo timer which tells me the speedo reading in digital and thats wasnt showing anything either. My factory boost gauge isnt working either but i dont really care abt that as it only reads in mmg or whatever and i can just get a boost gauge down the track but no speed reading or power steering is pretty fu*kd up. When i removed the cluster again i notice a plastic bit hanging out of the speedo which wasnt there before so i tried to stick it back in but the mddle bit of the plastic kept going back into the outer part of the plastic so i stuck it back into the speedo cable in which that didnt push the middle part of the plastic back out so i guess nothing is moving the speedo. So now the plastic is freakn stuck in the speedo cable and i dont know what to do.... is the plastic bit suppose to come off like that? or have i Fu*kd it? Some answers would be appreciated.... thank Q

If your talking about the middle interior lght you need a 12V 10W globe. As for colours i have the blue one and it aint worth SH*T. you cant see a thing!!! So get something bright!!! Also if this helps the globe is 32mm in length and about 8-9mm in width

If your low beam lights are white then it over powers the blue parking lights, just gives it that blue tinge. So it is totaly up2 u if u want to take the risk.....

Hey all, just wanting advise on what gauge brands are out there, i am looking at getting a few gauges such as boost, water temp, oil pressure & oil temp. For the boost and oil temp i want the gauges to read in PSI but most brands such as apexi, defi, and greddy read in BAR. So are brands such as autogauge and saber any good? Also are electronic gauges much better than mechanical? Please advise me if you think i am getting the wrong gauges or if other brands are out there. Feel free to post anything!! Thanks bo0st

Hi people, i also own a R32 Gtst and was looking into getting a hid kit. just wondering that one of you guys quoted that the 6000k was blurry but wouldnt the 4300k be to bright for oncoming car? also would the 4300k look just white? cause i want the blue tinge so what kit should i get?

I am also lookin into getting a boost controller and it seems like the blitz id3 has come out the winner. May i ask you sweetr33 how much you can get the blitz dual sbc id-3 for?

Hi there every1, i own a R32 GTST and as this is my first turbo car and so i know very little about cars. This year is the first year i have been reading on modifying cars and general discussions on cars. I only know of a few workshops around perth and am just wanting peoples opinion on which workshops you recommend and for what reason or which workshops we should stay away from and why? I think this topic would help out a few newbies out there like myself....the workshops i know of is JSHOP and Wheelspin located in Welshpool and Hyperdrive in Malaga in which i have never been to as of yet. So FEEL FREE TO HAVE YOUR SAY!!! Paul

I also am lookin in2 getting custom platez. Is there a website to see which plates are taken or do you have to go into a licensing centre to see if the plate has been taken?
