little birdie tells me that one of the GMS HR31s that currently races in the Group A/C historic racing category has been sold good reason for this the ex-owner wants to start racing (his) the GMS R32 GTR. this thing will be brilliant to watch at the track. anyway perhaps 31Gun can shed some more light on this.. should make next years Group A/C racing bloody excellent to watch - only downside being that the 31s are gonna be copping a hiding from the godzilla bring it on!!!

Well this is really 31Gun's place to post up - but he's at work and I just got off the phone from talking to him. And as always, he's giggling like a little schoolgirl, at the thought of and sheer excitement that this weekend, at the 2007 AUSTRALIAN MUSCLE CAR MASTERS, there will be 3 Gibson Motorsport HR31 Coupes out on the Track. Rod Markland and Tony LaRosa (spelling??) have only gotten their cars back together on Wednesday to be at this event. Rod Markland even blew a BRAND NEW turbo in the dyno. Anyway all is fixed. Also, Rod Markland will be out there in his trusty old 31. This will be a sight to remember - Hooksy informs me it will be the first time since 1989 that the 3 coupes will be out on the track together. For any guys in Sydney, get out there and have a look!!! I'll be there sometime on Saturday. my number is 0402 287 773. Hooksy (31Gun) will be there ALL weekend. his # is 0405 279 725. THE 31s WILL BE AT GARAGE # 36 Also, FRED GIBSON will be there on Sunday. I've said it before and I'll say it again, do not miss the opportunity to have a chat with this guy. He is more than happy to have a chat about the old days of Gibson Motorsport racing. The bluebird, the exa, the 31s, the gtr, you name it. He really does enjoy talking about it. If you need a conversation starter, ask him "is it true about Mark Skaife driving around an Australia R31 Sedan with a turbo whacked onto the side of the donk, that he later crashed??". good on ya steve chris easton runs stock everything his donk has been fine for 2+ years. thats bout 260rwkw (no doubt less than what you're aiming for) but they've lasted same goes for my old setup stock rb30 is underrated
