  3. this has got to be exaggerated.. i've noticed you've used the terms "stock det" and "det" a lot when i think you actually need to say either e or et. i.e i read somewhere you said you used a stock det head gasket, det forged pistons etc. i have the mahle 30det pistons 86.5mm 20thou overbore and my compression came to 160 on all 6, i didn't know cp made specific 30det pistons, are you sure you don't mean 30et?
  4. plamama? im assuming you mean plazmaman. if you check out peoples builds or even type rb30det into google you will find plenty or r33's running plazaman intake manifolds. you don't have to worry at all about the intake manifold not clearing, its the exhaust manifold/turbo that can/will hit the bonnet (depending on high mount and turbo size)

  6. Super hicas or hicas? Ah just rip everything out? Including the solenoid. Make sure you leave the little box under your parcel shelf. Undo the tie rods from the current bar, they are a reverse thread so hold one side etc. if all else fails, remove one tie rod then rip out the bar with The other tie rod still attached and go buy one from kyp

  8. hi people, I searched but couldnt get alot of info, i've registered a 32 from rb20 to 25 to 30, but that car was already registered and what not. My question is whats the word on an unregisterd 32 gtst running with a 26dett in it, how hard would it be to get it registerd. i'm not concerned about suspension etc as ive got stock 32 parts coming out my ass. just interested in how picky they will be about the 26 in it
  9. without name dropping a certain car stereo place assed mine up, twice, and still didnt get it right. wherever you go, check they have soldered the wires not just wound them, and make sure you dont have meters of wire just left hidden under stuff. personally from my experience, id avoid places that are basically car stereo places as they are generally 16yo's who dont really know wtf their doing

Just yesterday had some car pull in behind me down the fwy and start going nuts flashing his lights, needless to say I crapped my dax thinking my car was on fire or something, turns out he was just flashing the other side of the road about a speed camera. Seriously, I hate when ppl do that in excess, or when they are right behind me etc.
  14. spotted bunch of nerds walking around curtin last night, in full chain mail and armour with huge double handed steel swords, some with shields etc. then watched them on security cameras attacking each other in the park. wtf! apparently its some real life version of dungeons and dragons.
  15. old thread. i cant remember if ive got these in my car i think i put some in like 3yrs ago. can anyone comment if the drift/drag setup actually makes a difference or if its just bogus. id imagine drag setup just has something to do with axle tramp?

  18. that is wendy's car, has yellow callipers too, & now has c/f bonnet. it looks killer in photos, less appealing in person IMO
  19. really? what a rip, one of mine fell off about 2yrs ago while i was driving down the fwy and i payed $50 for a clear one the next day, some places wanted $80 I bought it from JPC in Perth generally the solid orange ones are on GTR's and you will find that even tho alot of GTR and GTST parts are identical wreckers will try to rip you off. "you want indicators for GTST? i have a solid orange one here $50" "you want indicators for GTR? i have a solid orange one here $100"
  20. yikes, should have bought my friends r32 rb25det few months back would u want it to be able to be driven on the street or for track only? either way im sure you could easily find a nicely 'already modified' skyline, silvia, 180, or s14 for that much money all ready to go nothing more to pay (except tyres) basically the way it should work for around 10k+ is the older the model the car the more modified it should be, ie an R32 or s13 for sale at 14k would have to be built or atleast have a big turbo slapped on the side with some good suspension, rims, ecu etc as opposed to an s14/s15 or r34 at 14k would be less modified or not modified at all. you dont have to stick with nissan either, you can look at mazda rx7, toyota, people drift all sorts of cars, you cant really say this car is better than that one, some people say 4 door cars are better some say 2 doors. its just personal choice tho usually for a beginner you want to start off with something with just some good suspension setup an lsd diff and not crazy power
  21. looks killer, too late for me tho, step 1: hold licence plates, step 2: 2 x tek screws into fibreglass -sidemount. done!
