For the un-educated (myself) whats usually involved with a leak down test compared to compression test and how long does it usually take?

Take the rims off and take some good pics of the damage. You may be lucky and be able to find stock parts for sale in the classifieds section.

Dont cut it youself, the angle grinder could possibly leave some sharp edges. Hit a hole when turning and it'll slice through that tyre.

I've had a couple of Momo wheels $300+ and currently using an Autotechnica $100 wheel. The Autotechnica is just as good in construction, material and stitching as the Momo.

You need a boss kit with a HICAS plug, try one of the bigger Autobarns. Or, wait a few weeks extra and order through Greenline/Nengun and pay about 30% less Also, I've found that the $100 steering wheels are just as good as say the $300 Momo ones. Don't be stooged by the name.

Which has yet to arrive surprise, surprise! My car is supposed to be getting a tune tomorrow and was I waiting for the plug, I have no means of contacting him. Why the f**k would you bother shafting someone over $10! It's not so much the money but the fact that this was last thing to go on my car before the tune - Ahhhh! Sorry I have to pull out. Had new intercooler and Gizzmo installed, intercooler needs nipple welded on for the Gizzmo, boost is spiking like a bitch so not safe for a few runs. Bugger. Was looking forward to this! Edit: If its postponed for a week or 2, I should be able to make it.

Been reading some dodgy stuff about these guys lately!

Get a high flow cat & twin dump pipe if you don't have one already. Upgrade the fuel pump. Hybrid style intercooler kit. Air filter/Heat shield/Cold air induction pipe. Gizzmo EBC @ 12PSI. ECU & tune it all. You'll be needing a clutch about now.
