I had one in my rb30/26 running 580hp and the preasure plate smashed after a week and destroyed my gear box. I was only running the cluch in no launches at all. It was a single plate 5puk from npc

Yeh man they will. But what we do at work with standard pistons Is put the head gasket on the head and scribe around the ring of the gasket on the head and then grind the head out. much safer for standard pistons. If you want pics or more info let me know

dont touch it man. I got the newgen on my skyline. Its been a heap of f****** S*** since new. I called the dealer i bought it off and he said the problem i was having was common and that i had to machine it donw a bit to seal. but still have the problem. i will sell mine for $100 running a tial 44mm now. best thing i have ever done

Hi people this head setup is of my skyline. When i was running it it only had stock cams and cam gear but is ported and polished. This setup that is assembled in the pic was making 450hp with a cheap chinese turbo on 19 PSI. I pulled it off with intensions of putting big cams and adjustable cam gears. But Came across a new Rb26 head with every thing i wanted so went with that option. I got these plates that came off my galant. Im sure they will suit a GTR. There in a sealed glass unit and come with the mounting brackets. Dyson had done the tune befor i bought it and it was running great. But then i went and changed the top end then dyson retuned it for me and made 490 at 20psi. was running wicked under boost but too fuely at idel. Then i had a bit of a missfire. so i took it to the local guys. They said the tune was done the old school way and that they could get heaps more power. So they made me 430 at 24psi. YAY. And to fix the miss fire they sent the microtec of and said it was the problem. them said it was the harness so they replaced it. Then still missfired so they replaced my no1 coil for $40 that fixed the prob. Then they gave me a bill for near $2500 they wont give me a timming graph. Said they cant get that of a dyno tune. but ill scan the results from dyson and the results for the local boys T.A.S.

With the cheap chinease GT45 it was running 20psi and making 450. Now with what i think is a better setup its only running 430 on 24psi

This was my set up: RB30det block honed out to 3.2L< forged rods and pistons, port and polished rb25 head, stock cams and cam gears, bosch coils, cheap s*** GT45 turbo and waste gate, top mount manifold, greedy plenum, 80mm throttle body, 800cc injectors, jun oil pump, microtec ltx12s ecu. Was running perfect at 450hp at the wheels tuned by dyson rotary. That's how i bought the car: Now i stripped the rb25 head off and replaced it with a r32GTR head from spool import. CNC ported, Good valves(not sure what type), HKS 282 cams, tommie cam gears, Turbonetics GTK1000 turbo, Turbonetics waste gate, 6BOOST top mount manifold, STANDARD GTR PLENUM ( not sure if this is a let down), sard fuel rail, sard 820cc twin spray injectors, One in tank bosch fuel pump that feeds to a catch can with 2 bosch 040 taking fuel from catch can to fuel reg. Eboost2. So that's a list of what i have added to it. It now only makes 430hp at the wheels on 24psi and runs like shit. where or what have I done wrong. Or what have I left out. Maybe it's my tuner.
