Yeah totally not worth it. I put a wheel on the other side to move it around and filled with regret. Wish I stayed 8's and drive it.
-
Wish this would finish itself.

It's more the proportions that look odd if the front bulges and the rear's standard. I have 16x9 0's on the front with 15mm spacers an they probably wouldn't quite fill 40mm guards yet 16x8 +1's just fit with too much camber and a pole flare on the rear. Have to go metal flares to fit 10's under to make it proportioned.

What sort of wheels are you running to fill them? It's hard to pull off fibreglass fronts on 4 doors. Bolt ons are a way different shape to the gradual flare of fronts and wide fronts with nothing on the rear looks retarded.

Got mine driving with just 8's on the rear and they are so boring compared to the 10's. Anyone know the whereabouts of a good write up for making big metal guards on 4 doors? Like this guys but won't be as drastic

Rear Spats , Rear Skirt Valance Lips On R33 4 Doors
Andrew R replied to -S-'s topic in Four Door Family
I think you mean 'rear pods'. Usually 2 door stuff doesnt't fit 4 doors so I doubt the pods will but I'm not certain. Try search eBay or Yahoo for 33 four door rear pods -
I mean dmax bootlip but regardless, laurel roof lips would be pretty far off fitting a 33. I think you'll struggle to get anything but a 33 four door lip to fit it. This is the bootlip

Quick dummy up of my new wing. Not sure whether to keep the roof lip with it or not. Looks better with it than I thought it would. Anyone wanna buy my dmax one?
-
I'm impressed you could find one! People offer me stupid money for my cracked one. Always a nice edition!

Turn 3 entry I believe. A few people have hit it lately an that never used to happen. Think it's a goo indicator that people are going harder and harder. Gravy, there's a Ceffy shell at my house if you're chasing one?
-
You 33 four door guys are weird

Super tidy! Wish mine was that clean. Needs to be quite a bit lower to make those wheels work though.
-
The eBay ones were in Melbourne and he wouldn't ship. Still trying to find some locally before I go YJ, end up costing a fair bit by the time they get here when I'm mainly just chasing the centres
-
Love the advans on it. They keep climbing higher up my list of wheels to get widened. On that note, if anyone sees any 5 stud 16" ssr mesh in width, offset or condition, please let me know. Need the centres

You go to quite a bit of extra effort for legalities but you'll remove the cat? The fine for no cat is a lot worse than the fine for too low That power's pretty good, should be enough to have some fun

Bump. Nobody's got wrecked guards laying around?
-
Bit of a long shot but I'm chasing the rubber strip that goes on laurel guards (can see in the picture what's missing) Need left and right. Thanks
-
Put some sensible wheels on the front of my laurel and drove it for the first time in a while today. Hopefully be back on track soon.

It's his car in Japan. What's your point? Love that thing Stewy, kinda how mine will end up if my other pair of wheels ever turn up.
-
Don't think I do to be honest, hated how it used to look, didn't take any pictures. Always had around -3 camber on the front, rear never aligned it but probably has negative 1-1.5ish. Get something around +20 or lower and make it fit. Will look way better than something too positive. Fronts aren't hard to get clearance out of and rears are a bitch but make all the difference in looks.

I buy heaps of shit off Koji, his prices are good but shipping to Gold Coast kills me. I usually only like small old school wheels on laurels but this would pull off XT7's well, just might need a height adjustment. I had 17x9+17's on mine and the rears would've needed a pretty decent lip job to run 0 camber. Fronts were fine, actually had a 15mm spacer on.

Someone finally bought it! That thing has been for sale since September 2010. I wanted it as a daily but the guy just wouldn't budge on price. Seems like a great starting point.

It has way more stretch than yours and looks like a decent pump. Haven't seen that one around actually, is there a build thread for it anywhere Kris?
