Hi guy have a r33 gtst and is fairly stock except for a pod boost controler set at 9psiand a catback exhaust. Thinking of getting a set a cam gears in and ex. Would it make a difference in power or drivability for a near stock car?

car 1996 r33 gtstHi guys this problem only started a few days ago when i noticed a sqeeky noise coming from the left rear hand wheel section. I ignored it untill the next day it was now making a soft thumping noise it sounded like the tyreswere worn and just yesterday whilst driving it started making a loud thumping noise whilst cruizing and taking offand slowing down the noise gets really bad. Around a month ago i was told i need new rear shock as they were leaking and a wheel alignment but hadent got around to doing it but i dont think that this could cause this problem. im thinking more the tailshaft but maybe DIFF :(any feedback would be greatly appreciated.regards Jim

yeah i have the exact same problem i think it is the BOV because i have one that vents to atmosphereand it sometimes stalls. As for the timing not sure? i would check the BOV and if u have a standard one lying around anywhere id like to buy it?regardsJIm

so is that 750 cat back or turbo back. that is quite resonably priced. i think its stainless.

Hi all has anyone purchased the above jjr stainless exhaust for their skyline from just jap. i want to know if it meets the legal requirements for noise and if it drones on the freeway which can get annoying. At the moment i have a jasma cat back exhaust which needs replacing but sounds awesome. How will this compare. regards Jim

Hi guys my clutch is on its way out and not grabbing on full boost.I want to get a new one but finding it difficult on what to get. I want a heavy duty but would like to know what people out there havealong with there thoughts on it eg the feel and ride of there clutch so i can make a decision.

yeah super lows with stock suspension. how is handling ride height. do wheels bottom out?

hi guys want to run an stand alone aftermarket ecu for my r33-gtst. it is a 96 model. what would people recommend? I want to retain the factory sensors. I dont mind if it is second hand if it is in working order that is.How much am i up for? thanks

so most probably it has a leak right? or if i can tighten it it will take more pressure to open up. just a quick question how does the bov controll the idle and stalling. vaccum leaks i guess

um if its the bov how would i rectify the problem?

Hi all this is my situation. I have a 96 r33 gtst and when driving and coming to a stop and sometimes whilst driving the car will stall. Whilst sitting at the light after stopping the idle of the car sometimes sits at 1k or 1.2k or even sometimes after i have started it again it idles at 2k. If i rev it it drops back to normal 700rpm. Im thinking it may be the AFM. My car has the following mods: cat back exhaust, bov, boost controller, pod filter. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Price for a new airflow meter if that is the problem? regards jim
