  1. I bought it to replace my dud one but sold the car before it showed up. I have never used or tested it. Second hand. $80 [email protected]
  2. I'm sueing **JaR**, he said I could jump my gtr...I tried to jump a paddle pop stick last night and tore off my front bar...hehe Yeah like I said, I reckon half of us will grit their teeth trying not to laugh or cry at the bad plot or american muscle crap, but the odd GTR or well built drifter will be enough to get us in.
  3. I still remember it well, my GTR all stickered up and paid for as a promo for 2 fast 2 furious, free tickets and opening scene is a GTR...tops...15 gear changes, oh well fair enough its hollywood...show it up...then.....a 50 ft bridge jump in an aluminium GTR...what am I doing here...let me out!!!! hehe. You know whats scarier though, I bet the exact thing will happen this time too.

  6. Yeah I know, I'm a personalised plates freak, but they gotta go. 40RCN - silver on blue (forcen that air baby, turbo supercharger, hyclone..hehe) GTR44 - silver on black ( all gtr's are 4 wheel drive wheel steer so suits any GTR) GTR98 - silver on black (98 model, 89 model, or imported in 98, maybe the year you go married...whatever) 41GTR - white on pink (with the introduction of the 3.8litre 35 GTR there will only be a matter of time before someone has a 4 litre GTR so this will be perfect, or if you want everyone to know its only your GTR...GTR for one) 51CKR - silver on purple (Sick GTR, type R, rodeo,rav4...whatever or just sicker than anything else) Plates are getting harder to find so make some decent offers to [email protected] and I'll see if I am agreeable.

  9. try one of these links http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/NISSAN...nd/1313712.aspx or http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...rch_distance=25
  10. Sorry, I should clarify...I meant in 2wd and reading back, I thought it was what I said. "Lights up the rear wheels just driving it normally without clutching it in RWD. " Anyway..for the third time...it might be sold. 1st guy got divorced 2nd guy finance fell through 3rd time lucky eh
  11. You don't know how many times I have been asked that. they really make the car. It would take a phenominal deal to get them off me, another set of wheels and a heap of cash.
  12. Yeah again..sorry. I have had a few serious mid 70's offers and knocked them back so I'll just wait for the right buyer. I am happy to keep it warm for them till they want it.
  13. If you could save me $50k on my new house and put back seats in that z...you'd have a deal...hehe I don't get offended by peoples offers..it's a simple yes or no..too many people take things personally. cya
  14. Sorry champ..too low for me, I'm not that desperate unless it was that plus a trade in from you. In this hick town they won't touch a trade down import. They all love at and 'say' probably $90k if we did...but it's all talk... It's too good of a car to let go easily...probably the best car I will ever own and it depresses me..hehe
  15. I guess it depends on the changeover, if its most of the money then just a runabout like a rav4 or something, if if half or less than maybe a 4 door 34 or similar, but open to suggestion
  16. So many phone calls...I should record my conversation and replay it every time..hehe
  17. GTR 34-Gees bloke...you have no sense of humour. If you seriously think I meant something bad by it you are an idiot. And like you said, I am selling it so why would I say something like that and mean it. You are exactly what people like us that own one now hate...friggin moron. I know this will probably close this thread, but I am sure the others reading this will see whats going on and understand the comments made. ps....I didn't pay 115k...you can't read either.... I was constructively commenting, actually helping you....your argueing.. Bye bye.
  18. Maybe we did dude and tryin to rip YOU and YOU ONLY off...hehe
  19. Fair comments I guess...at the end of the day, it's whatever your happy with so good luck to you. I hope others interested use this forum and conversations like this to understand the dilema's someone such as yourself have finding one. I am not beeing critical of you and understand your points of view, only critism is when looking for a car don't start it off with: 'if you accept $xxxx I'll buy it this weekend'....thats all
  20. Actually your the first person that has ever asked, for any of my cars. Most of them get the jist that I look after them and own them for a while. Here's some thing that was previously said to me: Hi, A genuine high grade (4.5 - 5) R34 GTR V SPEC with less than 30,000 Klms on the clock sells on average for 4,500,000 yen at auction in Japan - that's $53,000 car cost in Japan. Add to this all the other associated import costs (shipping, 10% customs duty, 10% gst, compliance etc etc ) and the price these cars are being advertised for in Australia just don't add up!!! I just paid 4,850,000 yen for a 1999 V SPEC grade 4.5 with genuine 26,000 Klms. This car ended up low $80,000 on road.
  21. We are sort of saying the same thing, exept you are taking the auction sheet as bible. If you buy a 34 NOW with auction sheets saying 50000'ks and be the first owner in Australia and pay $60-65000 do you really think it would compare to a car that has been here for a while and had services etc You just said you would buy that 99 model with 30000 on the clock if it had side air bags for $69k..I am a bit confused I guess. I don't really know but it is probably a fresh import that came over with 30000 on the clock...what did it really have .99 model works out to about 4000 k's a year, also as an example, I bought an 89 GTR with 60000k's (on auction sheet)..It was rebuilt here in australia and it was worn as hell. Another thing also too is the purchase of snow areas of Japan, in the cold and snowy towns they use Salt to defrost there roads so again another issue. I have had 3 GTR's and a GTST so far and have had less issues with ones I have bought from here. Fair enough to get a cheaper car 'mail order', but budget for other stuff too. Good luck.
  22. Fair point I guess..but If something like what I did (bought it off a guy who bought it from an importer 4 years ago for $115000) then your saying I have not much chance of selling it. I actually bought it because I knew it had been in the country a fair while and its life span was 'proven', rather than guess a mail order 34's life expectancy.
