hey guys, i finally got my 33 down here to adelaide but i noticed that sometimes (80% of the time) when i accelerate from idle i.e at the lights or something. the feels like it is about to stall or something like it would in a manual car (my car being auto) only for a breif second then it moves off and goes fine... the car in question is a 1996 Gtst series2, with no modifications and 34,000 kms on the clock, the car had not been used much before i bought it as the owner was overseas for quite some time, but it was started and driven occasionally to keep the parts going apparently, any advice would be very helpful as i am a big newbie, Regards, P.A

Hey guys, im going to be flying to sydney next wednesday to pick up my first imported car (Black 96 R33 S2) and im going to be driving it back home (to adelaide) on that same day, apparently the trip takes 16-20 hours but i guess i'll see... my real concern is that the car is absolutely immaculate, it almost looks brand new and has done only 30,000km im worried about the paint up front being damaged by stones, bird sh*t etc ive considered a car bra but ive noticed nobody sells them for 33 skylines, im kinda worried & stressed as i dont want chips & scratches in my new baby :'( can you guys suggest anything im running out of time and ideas, [also if theres any other advice you guys have for me id really appreciate it as this is my first time travelling long distance, thank you] Thank you in advance, P.A

Hi guys, im about to purchase my first Skyline in 3 weeks, its a stock 1996 R33 Gts-t Series 2 Auto with 33,000kms and nothing extra except for a rear sway bar, now, ive always been a manual fan, however im just happy to be getting a skyline right now my only plan is to change the exhaust system from the cat ( 3 inch stainless piping all the way to a rear muffler) i was just wondering in comparison how is stockish performance of the auto 33 VS an Auto Sr20 S13, AND ALSO im interested in converting to a manual in the future (if im not satisfied with the auto) how much would this set me back, is there any difference in price considering its a series 2 ? (i was quoted 4 grand drive in drive out by JMS here in adelaide, but to me thats too much, im not that rich )

Hey guys, im new to the forums and skylines in general, i have just put a deposit on an immaculate stock 1996 Nissan Skyline Gts-t Auto with 33,000kms on the clock... i just wanted to hear peoples opinions in regards to the 'on-road' performance in a straight line of an auto series 2 vs a manual series 2 (obviously the initial launch would be better but is there a significant difference in 400m times etc?) Also, are there any issues with this transmission that i should keep in mind, im planning to modify it very slightly (cold air intake, 3 inch cat back exhaust) any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks, P.A
