As title says, looking for the black box that goes in the drivers door with the dodgy solder points. Needing one with not so dodgy solder points so I can use drive thru's again. Will pay postage from interstate. Cheers

Was behind a White 33 with SAUWA sticker on rear window this morning driving through beckenham/cannington. Nice bit of camber on the rears.

Looking for a new set of brake pads and the guy at Repco was no help. So... According to the Bendix website they offer pads for the R33 GTR. R33 GTR with Brembo's and the non turbo R33. Do the GTS's run the same braking system as the GTST?? Thanks, Brock

Just curios if anyones had their seat/s reupholstered as my drivers side Recaro seat is copping some bad wear in the arm where I get in and out the car. Had a search around and found nothing. So just wondering rough costs/time etc. Cheers, Brock

oooh haha didnt see that post. must have replied as i was. yerr ill have to give another unit a go. i will exhaust all options before takin it to autosparky... way to stubborn to admit defeat haha

would the compresser effect the LED screen in the Control Unit because it doesnt even seem to turn on at all... no screen lights or numbers are displayed... even tried the self diagnostic thing where ya hold down the off button for 10 secs. no dice.

yer checked there too. swapped the AC one with one of the others under there that had same thing plugged in... also pulled out fan speed control unit cause it lookd dodge and resoldered... still no dice. 'the whole unit doesn't power on. no display or lights turn on... and its getttttin warm now too! curse you summer!

all fuses fine... back to square one.

Had to jump start my car recently, since doing it the AC wont turn on... ne ideas why?? i was thinkin fuse but i dunno japanese so im clueless to which fuse is for it.

I prebooked an examination at Kelmscott. Saved lining up. Was in and out in like 20-30 minutes hey. Coilovers are fine. I passed with them, if anything they helped me pass because my exhaust height was only just legal and he said when i get home just wind up my suspension 10mm or so because he noticed they were adjustable coilovers. CF bonnets as far as i know are illegal vented or not, due to them splintering instead of just bending in if ya hit someone/thing, becomes sharp.

PASSED!!! Was actually quite a pleasant experience... haha had a couple minor faults. one park light being out (ooops) and said the exhaust height was just on legal limit, but said just wind it up a cm because he noticed the adjustable coilovers and spend $4 on a new globe and on ya way. Didn't mention anything about tyre widths being different or the 3rd brake light AND no mention of any Im240 test.

Well that sure settled my nerves as i have a meeting with mr inspector tomorrow morning at 730. and with a reasonably stock car i was not really looking forward to forkin out that kinda coin.

My list is pretty minimal and car is fairly stock. minus the basic mods anyone does. i got done for having a head light out and bald tires and loose pod. Since then I've secured the pod, got new set of Pirelli's and installed new bulbs in headlights. As well as fixing the cursed drivers side window.. turns out it was a 5 minute soldering job and installed 3rd brake light after installing bobtail wing. soo i should pass with flying colors. PRE BOOK it is. haha Cheers, Brock

What are the lines like to get your vehicle inspected? Is it worth me waiting at Welshpool which is 5 minutes away. OR Driving to Kelmscott which is 15-20 minutes away and pre booking. Cheers, Brock

Sweet deal. Water jet fixed, Installing brake light during the week. Might try get past with the staggered wheels, wrapped in fresh rubber too. Any one have any idea about the electric window issue? Also I didn't think about this one until driving last night. I have blue lights in the foot area on drivers side and passenger side, should that be an issue?? Cheers, Brock.

Cheers for info! Another quick one, I've heard people getting done for not having any water in there windscreen sprayer. My concern is on of my jets is only shooting one stream instead of two, are they that picky at licensing?? Cheers, Brock.

So i received a canary last night and am just curious about a few things. Staggered wheel widths as i understand are a no no, correct? (i.e 7inch front 8inch rear) Removal of the stock wing with LED brake light means i have to install a 3rd brake light in the window. Thats just my assumption but makes sence. Any one clear that up for me? Finally, I too have been cursed by the dud drivers side electric window switch, so my window doens't go down at the moment. The Officer didn't pick me up on it just thought the inspector at licensing might? Cheers, Brock.
