  1. does anyone know if series 1 or 2 R33's have different reo bar? or evan r33 gtr's?

  3. this bar doesnt have the in-built grill that most fakes/copy have.. and thats spoze is the problem..esp on series 1..u get a gap. the bumper iam getting is a fake aswel..but yea..its an odd one..so yea im just try to suss it out 4 now. the only thing thats got me puzzled is wer the bumper bolts onto the corner of the front fenders.. ive seen this doin before on sereis2..and one guy made it.. i'll try find a pic.. and show u wat i mean.. his bar aswel didnt have the in-built grill..
  4. hey im interested in this aswel.. but i u dont need the full front end..unless u want all the guards etc..aswel u may aswel just get the front bar..lik im doing. & since i will getting a gtr bumper next week..i believe its a fake, but its a TBO one..so der spoze pretty high quality bumpers from japan?? but im unsure about this. and yeah it hasent got the in-built grill that most have fake/copy gtr bumper/s have.. which seems to be the problem on series 1..coz of the headlamps.. u get gaps.. as ive seen on sum 33 with gtr bumper..mainly series 1. i believe the headlamps or rad support isnt going to be the problem.. esp. on a series 2. its the front guards thats got me puzzled. since the gtr have wider frt guards the mounts mit be different..but im willing to have a shot at it. but has anyone esle experienced this as a problem when trying to fit this bumper..?? any info would b great. thanks
  5. ah ok..but it will fit like mount up..?? the fender are different but towards the body not front..or mayb coz of the headlamps.. i heard gtr front bumpers wont fit series2 coz of the headlights are different, but fits on series1 33 or was this just a load of crap....

  7. get a hypergear.. der hi-flow and does my street setup just fine..well great! is was 800 for the rebuilt highflow turbo but den u needed new lines/piping and hoses and gaskets so all up..just over a grand.. thats if u fit it urself.. and its not laggy..
  8. so ur sayin u can run a z32 with a safc and stock ecu?? that probl. is possible just gota change the in&out settings and then a tune..

  12. are u sure about this?? coz ive neva seen this, but im still runnin a stock comp. i believe pfc can b setup to do this..but i think it does it for knock as standard.. other than that.. yeah, it feels like ur car can go alot harder..but it cant. feels like u've hit a wall.. also, ive been told by tuners that the ecu has stock maps that maxs out evan before the afm reaches max...but im unsure about this.. and u cant run a z32 afm on a stock ecu anyways.. ive got an apexi neo and it displays my afm %, thats another way u can see ur afm %. bring on a map sensor

  14. woops.. not 8!!! im mean 6 wen cold wen driving..lol on cold idle it would sit on 4. and on 3000rpms wen warm(normal temp) it would b about 2.5
  15. hey just a quick questions wer is the oil pressure sender unit located? is there a fix or a way to clean it or anything? i think mine mit b playing up. for about a month now, ive notice my oil pressure sits on about 6-8 wen cold.. just under 8 wen driving. and on about 3000rpms sits around 3.5? this is on the stock gauge. and on idle after some long drives it sits on 2. is this normal? i swear it use to never be all over before. or that high when cold. im running penrite 10-50 and a gen. nissan filter. and it has been burning the oil abit now, i believe. never use too. but no smoke and no leaks. also im running a new highflow hypergear atr28 g2 bush bearing turbo with speedflow line to the turbo. and my engine done about 118,000k's i did run motul 10-40 turbolight through wen i first fitted the turbo, which was a bout 100,000k's.. so i used it twice, but i reckon it ran better on penrite. thats y i went back. was this a good idea? but yeah. any ideas would be great. thanks

  17. well...i think ive faulted my problem.. i noticed wen on the freeway the other night.. i notice on my afc..that a/f% was on about 10%..then all of a sudden it would just randomly drop to lil 7/8% nad i could feel the hesitation from this...it did it a couple of times..then it just went away.. ????? but my throttle was in the same position...just cruisin..no boost or anything.. so what i can gather from this this its the afm cutting out.. i just open the silicone top black cover on the top off afm. noticed the 3 wires that connect to the main board looked fine.. but i still did re-solder them... and i gave the board a good clean of electrical contact cleaner... hopfully shes all good now
  18. na, its got a atmo bov.. but its set on hard.. so it completely flutters.. but the problem..is on off.. like it will do it lik 1 out 3 days.. sometimes 4 days.. its freakin annoying!
  19. hey 33gtst,, wat do u mean by low and light throttle cut??wat did it feel like??can u explain it abit more?? or did u have any other noticable issues that appeared too? thanks
  20. hey i had a simliar problem..but mines on and off.. hasnt done the surging thing in awhile..did it really bad lik a week ago..almost had to get towed.. but it hasnt done it eva since..cant firgure it out.. but i do get sometimes rough idles now and then.. and i clean my iacv too.. and feels lik i cant rev..esp. round the 2000-3000rpm mark..like its losing power..its weird ay..but its goes away... i dont no if its the afm?coz i havent got a spare or no anyone wit a s2... so i cant try that.. ive cleaned it wit crc mass air-flow cleaner..but yeah.. go new plugs..all gapped good.. and i got spitfires.. ive cahnged the 2 silicone hse..and check all clamps..doesnt feel lik a leak..or from i can tell... the topic i started is here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/We...te-t262169.html
  21. hey, i ve got a r33 rb25det.. for lik a week now..ive bein noticing weird hesitation..well more like little missfires.. or splutters would be the word im looking for.. from i believe it only wen de-acceleration.. lik ive back off the throttle to like change gear for example..or just back off... but wen i go to accelerate again..it does it..so its not a boost thing.. and im not acclerating hard or full throttle..like 10-20& throttle...so like just from daily driving...so im not evan close to hitting boost.. my mates reckon it sounds like a vac leak.. wen driving..the only thing i can describe it just feel lik ive dropped in power for lik a spilt second...u can feel it in the accelerator pedal...and u can hear here abit.. well the splutters.. but not all the time does it do it...its so weird.. ive changed new plugs and there gap to 0.8m.. clean afm with afm cleaner.. clean iacv wit carby cleaner.. and ive check for vac leak..cant here anything.. did check all silicone hose..just incase and there hose clamps... and they seem all good... any ideas? my engine mods are walbro fuel pump,fmic,pod,splitfires,apexi afc neo, hks catback exhuast,hypergear atr28 g2 turbo,hdi type-d ebc
  22. well how much are willing to spend on just the turbo?? and how much power are u after?
  23. the rb25 sump CAN NOT take 8Ltr's "ParagOn" if u wer to fill it more than 4.4Ltrs of oil.. it(oil) would start to go up to ur through to fill up ur engine.. depending on how much oil u put in..... as in his case.. 8ltrs...lol
