lol, what i found out with this timer is you can adjust it you can either set it at a certain time like have it running for 2 mins everytime you turn it off, or set it on auto and you can adjust it from level 1,2 or 3, 3 being the longest.

first up nice car sounds like your boost gauge is working fine. if your foot isnt on the accelerator your not creating boost so it should read under 0 but when you put you foot on it it will pick up. a common thing with r34's is the boost gauge will stop working which mine does on occasion,, there is a few threads around abouth that. also ive got the exact same turbo timer in my r34 lol.

i can help with some of those questions. first up with a manual the power feels more direct. if you got 2 of the same cars with same mods but one an auto and the other a manual the manual will have more power at the wheels compared to the auto. all r34 auto's are a 4 speed tiptronic. than the r32 auto's are 5 speed and i think the r33's might be too but im a bit unsure about that one, im sure someone else can clarify on that one. with the question about what to look for when buying a r33 s2 id say look for rust and dont believe the odometer just look at the condition of it and how it drives eg. gearbox and engine also condition of the interior. and fuel economy i have no problems with mine i have a pod filter turboback exhaust and a front mount and im happy with the amount of fuel it uses. if its going through alot you might have a heavy foot lol, or its the O2 sensor needs replacing. i own an r34 gtt thats auto, and i like it as my daily and still has the power. but im looking at getting a gtr now lol. im sure other people will post better things than i have but its a start. good luck with your search

lol yeah thats true, luckily it was just some flying bug, because if it was a spider i would of opened the door and jumped out, i wouldnt care how fast i would be going or where my car is heading lol.

ive got a question for everyone, i want to get a new car and have been looking at gtr's to replace my r34 gtt, now r34 gtr's are still out of my price range but i can comfortably afford a 33 gtr. now is it worth buying a car that is 3 to 4 years older than mine? because my parents say that im crazy buying a car thats older than mine.

wow, i might be checking this one out its definately what im looking for, but just a quick question you say it has a extreme performance clutch, whats it like? is it ok for traffic driving? only asking as honestly i havnt had much practice in a manual. i havnt driven one in a while and im really missing it. thanks. scott.

yep thats the exact one i ordered. i couldnt see why not as i was told it should fit aftermarket cats, but id say there would still be some small modifications to do to get it to fit properly because thats what they did with mine, or maybe mine is just a bit different underneath because its auto. but if there is anything else you need to know just give us a yell. thanks. scott.

first up i have a r34 stainless steel dump pipe that i bought from just jap, took it to a mechanic to get it fitted but he reckons it wouldnt fit, so i called just jap he said its got to do with the compliance cat converters and that they dont line up properly. anyway i decided to go with a custom made one instead because one of my brothers mates does it. Im after $100 that is fully refundable if you find out it doesnt fit, would prefer pickup. next up is a r34 auto box that can be used for parts because its missing some of the plugs that they took out to put in my car. $200 also have a MV automatics 2800/3000rpm stall converter that i decided not to put on my car. $200. last item is a sony stereo headunit the item code is mex-BT2600, was going to get it installed but i dont care anymore the one in the car still works so i decided ill leave it. $200. couple items in the list i havnt taken pics of but if you need them let me know.

spotted yesterday a silver r33 at ikea in the city, it had sau stickers and a decepticon sticker on the back, i know whose it is but i cant remember your username lol.

ive been doing a bit of thinking, and im about to get a promotion so i thought id upgrade to an older model skyline but its also an upgrade lol, im looking at r33 gtr's. i know i can afford one easily and maintain and have full comp insurance which was the main things i wanted to check. if i could id go a r34 gtr but they are still out of my price range and the r33 gtr's are really growing on me. what ive started looking for is the series 3 gtr's as i want the latest model possible. so thats what ill be doing this year .

i classify myself as an enthusiast. and the things to not draw attention to yourself would be keeping the blowoff valve stock and no huge rear wing are fancy lights or crazy bodykits or excessively loud exhaust. i think if you keep these in check you would be fine. i have never been pulled over in my car (touch wood) and have been waved through booze buses. it also helps that if they do a check on me they will see im as clean as a whistle. the only thing i got was a epa test for my exhaust but they didnt pull me over i only drove past lol, found out i had a few holes in the piping so that wouldnt of helped but its fixed now . in conclusion keep your skyline looking clean and as legal as possible lol, and you will be fine.

thats true, i think its more of an impressed thing (well for me it is) because you dont see very many women that drives skylines and bikes.

ill join in and say welcome , and nice choice with the r34. on a different note i cant believe how many people have white cars, but black is the way to go lol.

im with you on the huge chrome rims and what they call sex spec or something thats why i never buy hot 4's magazine anymore its full of them especially with tan leather, definately not my thing. but also im not a big fan of the sound of bov's i prefer to keep that part quiet.

wow, something else lame has popped up in the N/A thread. if you like looking like a wanker and embarrassing yourself then go ahead buy one. i used to own a N/A skyline and it was good to start out in, but i now have a gtt and i would never go back, having that more power definately helps to overtake slower cars and when going up hills too, also for DECA!. ive gone back to slower cars and they are just annoying to drive, you go around the roundabout and accelerate back up to 100km/h and find out that other cars are passing you. and just to note, im not a hoon i have a clean record in my skyline, never had a speeding ticket. so i dont do illeagal things in my car just because its turbo but still really enjoy it than a N/A. id definately drive performance 6's and v8's as a daily though . ps. id also drive v10 and v12's as a daily also lol.

bit more info. but if it was like mine, it could be the coilpacks. it would idle very rough with the engine light on.

got a quick question, is the gearbox exact same as the one in a r34?

im going to second this, only because if you come out and say your awesome, its usually true. plus i dont see why you would lie to all of us either lol.
