    Our Skyline Sept 2007

This is our skyline when we first brought it :D
  2. We hope to get it to the stage where we won't be able to use it as a every day car...But we don't have any chasis damage at all, the car's pretty straight and been well looked after so we don't really want to race it... But dyno comps and stuff would be cool...But you never know, Adrian would like to take it to Willowbank once a year at least for power cruise and out for club runs once we join the club
  3. Lol Adrian works with brakes and clutch's for a living, so clutch (Exedy brass button) has been done and brakes were fully overhauled when the car was up on the hoist at DPS the last time...Belts and spark plugs are getting done in the major back to front service...We have a k&n panel fliter, we will be replacing the air flow meter with a map sensor. So many things to do
  4. Heyas...Just thought I would make a post about our skyline and the upgrades we are planning to do to it over the next 2 weeks...Any input (sudjestions) would be welcomed Our first upgraded part was our turbo. See our old turbo shit it's self, dealership had left 2 bolts out of the turbo and a few bolts were not done up tightly enough on the air flow metre and well that was goodbye standard turbo hello T3 with T4 internals, blow off valve, screamer pipe, some new piping... So atm we are running 5.8psi and getting 221.9 rwhp outa it (Our First Dyno Run)...lol but guess that's not to bad for less than standard boost. So now we have started we are gonna keep going with the flow lol... Over the next 2 weeks we plan to have a blitz front mount 150 thick, alloy radiator, Link G3 ecu put in, some autometer carbon fibre guages and thought while we were at it we would hav a major service done from front to back as well as a new race series timing belt (15,000ks early but worth it). And off course we will be turning the boost up some more
  5. Yeah we are also thinking about joining. Be nice to meet some ppl we have something in common with So you can count me n my partner in...Black GTS-T...
  6. We went to a guy yesterday and he plugged our car up to the computer and it ended up being the water temp sensor. Basicly the water temp sensor was sending the cars computer the wrong singal which lead to it thinking it was cold all the time. So off course it kept putting more fuel into the engine than it needed and it was flooding it's self. Which explains the problem starting it and the problem while driving it. So it's all good now
  7. Ok that's worth checking n I will get Adrian to check that when he gets home from work. Because it is getting to much fuel when it's doing it...But wouldn't that cause it to do it all the time? The car only does it randomly...Altho it is starting to do it more often...
  8. Basicly every now and then our car decides it's not going to start and it just cranks n cranks n cranks and we always end up having to clutch start it. And when the car does start it will blow alot of fuel smoke, coughs and splutters, fuel smoke dies off after about 5 seconds. Thing is this happens if its wet, dry, if the engine is cold, hot, if it's been driven normally, or if u give it a little boot, small trips, long trips, its ultra random. We have so far tried a couple of things. We unplugged the injectors and the car turned over and ran untill it ran out of fuel. We had our injectors checked and cleaned about 4 months ago, flowed fine, no drips. We got a new battery so it's not that...and we have it serviced reguarly. Basicly wondering if anyone has any ideas on what could be causing this problem?
