What do you mean by compatible? I've heard they can fit but they are a different size, one is 225mm the other is 240 so could I use it if I change the flywheel and starter motor or something?

Rb25det has a round engine mount and the rest of the rbs are square/rectangular dont know if this will affect fitting but your gearbox crossmember mounts will be slightly out so you will have to modify your original crossmember and as for the tailshaft all you have to do is have an r33 yoke fitted to the front of the tailshaft so it will go into the gearbox and it will bolt straight up (this is what i had to do to mine but its a 5sp 33 box not 100% about an auto) Hope this helps
